Happy Belated Thanksgiving Everyone!

Hello all again - just wanted to wish you all a Happy Belated Thanksgiving...my mom and dad's best friends, Heather and Adam Kay, flew home to visit from Florida for Thanksgiving...that was a real treat! I was so glad to meet them...I even kicked Heather in excitement for their return home. Heather thought that was pretty neat!

Just want you all to know that I'm so thankful that I get to meet you all in March...have a super week! Christmas is on the way!

Love, "BS"

"BS" Is Six Months Along!

Hello everyone - I am officially over the 24 week mark, as of Tuesday, Nov. 20, which means I am 6 months old already. From the weekly updates that my mommy and daddy receive, I am about a foot long (so my mom calls me a ruler now! hahaha), and my brain is growing rapidly (my dad tells me I'm going to be smart like him). Also, my taste buds are working now and my lungs are developing "branches" of the respiratory "tree" and cells that produce surfactant, a substance that helps the air sacs inflate easily.

One really cool thing is, I can hear now! And I do startle at loud noises because my mom got to go to another NHL game on Saturday in Columbus, Ohio, with the SCSU women's hockey team and the game went into overtime. Man, are those people in the crowd loud when they cheer and the horns on the scoreboards were so loud, I was jumping all over in mommy's tummy!

Well, that's the update on me...I'm sure you can all see that I'm growing and that my mommy finally does look pregnant. Still can't wait to meet all of you in March...Have a great week!

Love,

"BS"

I Had a Great Time in Boston!!!

How da heck is everyone doing? (BS talking Minnesotan)...Well, my mom and I got back from Boston yesterday. We were there for 3 1/2 days. We got to see a lot of things, including the TD Banknorth Garden where the Boston Celtics and Bruins play, Fenway Park where the Boston Red Sox play, and of course, CHEERS....one of my mom's most favorite shows that she got to watch with Grandma Carol when my mom was younger. It was all very neat, there are people everywhere, cars everywhere, and people living on top of each other it seems, but I was glad to be back in Minnesota Sunday night...I think my mom was too!

Best part of the trip, the St. Cloud State women's hockey team won both of their games, which from what my mom tells me, was the Huskies first sweep of the season! So I'm assuming I'm their good luck charm! J/K

Anyway, enjoy the photos, especially you sports fans...a lot of people in Boston thanked us from Minnesota for sending them Kevin Garnett for basketball, Randy Moss for football and David Ortiz for baseball. My mom had to admit, it was pretty sad seeing #5 Kevin Garnett Boston Celtics jerseys hanging everywhere....Minnesota sure does miss those professional players!

Have a great weekend everyone and a Happy Thanksgiving. I'll be flying out with my mom to Columbus, Ohio, with the women's hockey team on Thursday morning, so have a safe weekend and enjoy your Turkey Dinners!

Love, "BS"

Fenway Park, the oldest baseball stadium in the USA.

Fenway Park's Green Wall...or the Green Monster as they call it.

Fenway Park is undergoing major construction right now. They are adding a restaurant in center field, new sky boxes on both the left and right field lines, and all new seats in center field. It still was quite the site to see.

TD Banknorth Garden, the new home of the NBA Boston Celtics and the NHL Boston Bruins. This was the first NHL game that my mom or I have ever seen.

My mom took this photo for my uncle Aaron...he just loves Larry Bird! My mom got to see some of the original floor from the old Boston Garden...pretty neat stuff!

The real Cheers! "Where everybody knows your name..."

Me and my mom standing outside the stairwell to Cheers.

The outside of Cheers looks exactly like it did on the show!

Mom got to try some of Norm's Nuts at the gift shop...good stuff!

"Norm!!!!!"...as everyone on Cheers would've yelled. My mom just had to get a photo with Norm and his legendary beer!

Can't wait to meet you and Papa Stang in March!

Love, "BS"

Hi everyone, you should be able to see my little arms in this photo, along with my eyes, and my HUGE brain on the right...Daddy says I get it from him....do you all agree?

I Can't Wait To Meet My Cousins!!!!

Jake and I have four beautiful nieces! Skyler is the oldest and is four years old already! Skyler was just two years old when she was our flower girl for our wedding, very special for us. Her younger sister, Ella, is now three and is potty trained! Her mom and dad, Sarah and Eric, are very grateful! Our next niece in the line of age is Aaron and Megan's Isabel Lucia. Isa officially joined the family on Oct. 5, 2007, when she made the journey from Guatemala to the USA. She was born on Nov. 20, 2006, however, and will be having her first birthday next week! We're all very excited for that day. Isa was the cutest kittie ever for Halloween! And last, but not least, Mya Melissa was the lastest edition to our family. Mya was born on May 1, 2007, to Rhonda and Brian...and she was a cow for her first Halloween! Just Priceless!

Baby Stang ("BS") says...."I just can't wait to meet my cousins in March!"

Love you all,

Jake, Celest and "BS"

How Little Diapers Are!!!!

On October 24th, after our first ultra sound, Jake and I went grocery shopping and bought our first official package of newborn diapers! What an experience! I couldn't help but compare Jake's hands to the tiny little diapers...it's amazing. What a miracle how little those babies are...
or, how big Jake's hands are! hahahahaha.
Enjoy everyone...Jake is so pumped for "BS" to arrive, as am I...so now every time we go grocery shopping we buy another pack of diapers...can never be too prepared I guess.
Love, the Stang's

The diaper fits inside of Jake's palm!

Jake (Daddy) is already getting his hands ready for changing lots of diapers! hehehehe

Go Chargers!!!!
