Roz Lost Her First Tooth!

Last night was a monumental evening for our Miss Roslyn Ann!
She waited until 1st grade to lose her 1st tooth :)
It took a little time wiggling the tooth after supper to come out, but her face was PRICELESS once I was holding her tooth out in front of her! So pumped for her!
Roslyn had a couple questions for the Tooth Fairy last night:
Deer Tooth Faree - What boo (do) you yoos (use) the teeth for? ar (Are) you a boy or a grl (girl)?
frum Roslyn

Too dang fun.
The Tooth Fairy showed up this morning with a $2 bill!

The Tooth Fairy answered Roslyn's questions and left pink and purple fairy dust all over.
Answers:
1. I recycle the teeth into Fairy Dust
2. I'm a girl with golden locks of hair

Roz couldn't wait to go to school this morning and show everyone her toothless grin.
So happy for her!

Family Fun in the Fall...

What a beautiful fall we've all been able to enjoy!
Hard to believe the last week of October is among us!
Over a week ago the 5 of us got to enjoy a Saturday morning at A & G Produce...what a place!
Tractor and car races.

Then it was off to the corn mazes!
Pumpkin Fun!

Cheese!
Two different corn mazes and we made it fun, despite getting literally lost in the second maze!
Jake teaching even on his MEA weekend off!
Kids enjoyed the hayride!

And Roslyn especially loved riding the Pony...this lil' girl loves horses!

All three of our kiddos wore this shirt..."Frankly" Speaking, I love Halloween!
Have a great Halloween week everyone!

School Already For Our Baby?

So this happened today...I trailed my baby girl into a new school for her first ECFE class! A first for both of us...only happy tears as there was NO FEAR for this lil' 2-year-old.
Carrine was so happy to go to school after mass this morning!
How can you not be excited for her?!
She picked out her very own locker for the first time!
While laying CC down for nap today after lunch, she had the biggest smile on her face and said, "I like my new school Mommy...and my classroom has a lot of STUFF in it!" Yes Carrine, you're right.
Let another journey begin!

Wood Cellar is Full!

Mom and Dad's wood cellar is full for the winter!
Can't wait to come back home this winter and stick my feet up by the fire place!
Sunday was an awesome day back home with mom and dad!
Wish these times didn't have to be so spread out!
No matter what the season, mom and dad's yard is always beautiful.
No lie, Roslyn was legitly steering the Gator all day Sunday, and of course Carrine was all over the place!
Thanks Mom for all you did "inside" the house on Sunday so the rest of us could be outside working. You're truly the best!
Yep, even our 2-year-old was strong enough and determined enough to lift, stack and throw wood down into the cellar! By far my most strong-willed child here folks!
Ah, listening to CC yell down to Jake and Uncle Jacob and Andray in the cellar was priceless, "How you guys doing down there...are you okay?...is it full yet?!"
Love coming home...can't wait to go back!
So thankful for my parents...

Harvest Time is Among Us!

This picture whole-heartedly sums up Andray's pure joy and excitement for Harvest Time on the Stang farm! What a week for this kid!
So glad both Andray and Roz got to help plow the fields with their dad over MEA break.
Yep, that's my son throwing rocks at the cattle to "scare" them away!
This lil' man LOVES being on the farm!
CC checking out the cattle.
All Roz could say that day was..."It's a Celebration!"
Even Carrine got in on the "Leaf throwing action!"
A post-lunch prayer to keep all farmers safe during Harvest Time.
Love this trio...more times than not LIFE ends up not the way we planned.
What happens in life truly is God's plan, and despite all of my own plans and intentions for my career goals, I thank God every night for the opportunity to spend 120% of my time right now with my kids.

To all those who have or currently stay home full-time with your children, God bless you. It's truly the most difficult job in the world...yet the most rewarding. And has nothing to do with monetary rewards. These three kids are my #1 responsibility right now and I need to make the most of it.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL THIS HARVEST TIME and always...

Missing a Great Man...

Hard to believe Gpa Shorty left us 10 years ago for the gates of Heaven...not a day has passed since we haven't miss you Gpa! You truly were the best!
So glad Jake got to meet Gpa and earn his "approval" to date me for "two hours!"
Priceless certificate.
The day Gpa asked us to have a Solemn High Mass for our wedding, just 4 days after Jake proposed.
Love you always...

Fall Fun...

Yesterday was a BEAUUUUUUUUTIFUL Fall Day in Minnesota!
Wish the weather and scenery could stay like this forever!
Our pretty girls after mass...

We are the proud owners of Andray's 2nd grade classroom project...highest bidders at the live auction...thanks Sue for bidding for us and spending our money:)
Very special to have this platter.
Already know next year we'll be bidding on Roslyn's 2nd grade class project!
To all those who supported our school's Harvest Celebration, thank you!
Most money raised in over 5 years...was quite an experience serving on the Board this fall!
Hard to believe MEA week is among us, time is flying!
