10 Years Already...

Hard to believe 10 years ago tomorrow I married the man of my dreams...

There is no perfect marriage...but through the dark times and bright times one thing has remained strong in our household...our faith in Jesus Christ.

I'm thankful for our 3 healthy children and that God has remained the center of our marriage and our family.

I'm beyond grateful to our parents who not only assisted with giving us the wedding day of our dreams, but have truly shown us what marriage is all about!

I can't wait to see what the next 10 years of our journey together brings us...I love you more than words Jacob Raymond!

All in a Day's Work!

Good bye yellow bathroom.
What's going to work?
Teamwork!
Our teal/turquoise bathroom is in honor of SCSU's #9 Kelly Laas...our Angel in the Outfield!

Happy Father's Day. ..

Happy Father's Day to all of those incredible dads out there...especially my dad!
I was fortunate to spend an amazing day at home yesterday with Dad. Thank you for teaching me to follow Christ, to work hard, to be kind, to love unconditionally, to never be jealous of others and to forgive.
You are my HERO Dad...I love you so much!
Dad...you are the BEST father and Papa a child could ask for!
And a very Happy Father's Day to my hubby...what more can I say?!
You are the greatest dad I could ever dream of for our children!
WE LOVE YOU!

A Powerful Day at the Farm...

Jake's Aunt Lori's dreams came true last Saturday as she was able to host her son Chris, who she placed for adoption 30 years ago, and Chris's parents and girlfriend at the Stang farm.

Was a powerful day at the farm meeting Jake's biological cousin Chris for the first time!
Chris made it up to the hay loft of Gpa Andy's barn - just in time before it's taken down this summer.

Chris is a natural farmer - he whipped around in the farm yard on Gpa Andy's favorite red tractor like he was an "old pro!"
Lots of smiles at the farm on Saturday.

The Stang Crew...
What a "GIFT" Lori gave Chris 30 years ago - I'm so happy for Lori that she's been able to start a relationship with Chris and his family all these years later.
God works in mysterious ways...Lori is truly one of the strongest individuals that I know on this earth. Hearing and seeing what she's gone through makes me have more respect than ever for mother's who place their babies in hopes to give their children a better life.
I pray every day for my nieces Isabel's, Amelia's and nephew Louis' birth mothers. They are true heroes to me. And I pray every day for my brother Aaron and his wife Megan who had the love, faith and courage to have 3 beautiful children through adoption.
Adoption is such a heart-wrenching and painful process...but in the end God has an incredible way of turning lemons into lemonade!
GOD IS GOOD...Saturday was a strong reminder to TRUST in the LORD!
HE has a PLAN...and it truly is HIS PLAN!

Kayleen Lives On...

Yesterday our family finished our first 5K race together and honored one of the strongest little girls I ever knew. Kayleen Larson lost her battle with leukemia 2 years ago. Was absolutely powerful to see all the people out in Clearwater supporting Kayleen's family and their mission to help other families with sick children!
Carrine came with me to pre-register...Kayleen's "words of wisdom."
Was a beautiful morning at the park...Kayleen's dad was convinced it was Kayleen who provided us with the awesome weather!
Waiting at the starting line...over 200 people released orange and blue balloons into the air before we started running...was a "sight to see!"
Multiple signs of Kayleen were placed along the race route. At each sign the kids would stop and read the message...can't help but tear up looking at pictures of Kayleen...she was so beautiful.
Amen!
Was a special morning together as a family. We crossed the finish line together for a GREAT CAUSE.
