I Had a Great Time in Boston!!!

How da heck is everyone doing? (BS talking Minnesotan)...Well, my mom and I got back from Boston yesterday. We were there for 3 1/2 days. We got to see a lot of things, including the TD Banknorth Garden where the Boston Celtics and Bruins play, Fenway Park where the Boston Red Sox play, and of course, CHEERS....one of my mom's most favorite shows that she got to watch with Grandma Carol when my mom was younger. It was all very neat, there are people everywhere, cars everywhere, and people living on top of each other it seems, but I was glad to be back in Minnesota Sunday night...I think my mom was too!

Best part of the trip, the St. Cloud State women's hockey team won both of their games, which from what my mom tells me, was the Huskies first sweep of the season! So I'm assuming I'm their good luck charm! J/K

Anyway, enjoy the photos, especially you sports fans...a lot of people in Boston thanked us from Minnesota for sending them Kevin Garnett for basketball, Randy Moss for football and David Ortiz for baseball. My mom had to admit, it was pretty sad seeing #5 Kevin Garnett Boston Celtics jerseys hanging everywhere....Minnesota sure does miss those professional players!

Have a great weekend everyone and a Happy Thanksgiving. I'll be flying out with my mom to Columbus, Ohio, with the women's hockey team on Thursday morning, so have a safe weekend and enjoy your Turkey Dinners!

Love, "BS"

Fenway Park, the oldest baseball stadium in the USA.

Fenway Park's Green Wall...or the Green Monster as they call it.

Fenway Park is undergoing major construction right now. They are adding a restaurant in center field, new sky boxes on both the left and right field lines, and all new seats in center field. It still was quite the site to see.

TD Banknorth Garden, the new home of the NBA Boston Celtics and the NHL Boston Bruins. This was the first NHL game that my mom or I have ever seen.

My mom took this photo for my uncle Aaron...he just loves Larry Bird! My mom got to see some of the original floor from the old Boston Garden...pretty neat stuff!

The real Cheers! "Where everybody knows your name..."

Me and my mom standing outside the stairwell to Cheers.

The outside of Cheers looks exactly like it did on the show!

Mom got to try some of Norm's Nuts at the gift shop...good stuff!

"Norm!!!!!"...as everyone on Cheers would've yelled. My mom just had to get a photo with Norm and his legendary beer!
