Welcome Home Roslyn Ann!

Roslyn Ann made it home safely yesterday and Big Brother Andray was happy to see her. He scooted up to her carseat right away and started kissing her...it was pretty sweet. I cried of course. Jake and I really missed Andray while we were gone in the hospital, it's great to be home. Enjoy the photos, we are doing well, just very tired. Thanks for all the phone calls, cards, gifts and texts with the arrival of Ros, we couldn't do it without the support of all of our friends and family,
Love the Stang's...

Roslyn wore a very special outfit home from the hospital. It's the same outfit I wore home from the hospital almost 28 years ago to the day. It fit her perfectly...my grandmother bought it for me to come home from the hospital, and my mom kept it all these years in hopes for my daughter to wear it home from the hospital some day. My mom's hopes came true!
Just before we left the hospital...
Home sweet home...
Andray scooting up to his sister's carseat to kiss her...so precious.
We couldn't be happier with Andray's acceptance of his new baby sister to the family, it's so cute to watch him hug and kiss her (and of course poke and praud her!).

Their first night together at home...SWEET DREAMS!

It's A Girl!!

We welcomed ROSLYN (Rahz-lyn) ANN to our family yesterday, Saturday, May 23. She was born at 2:27 p.m. and weighed in at 7 lb. 1 oz. and just 19 inches long.
Again, we did the "combined" name for our child. The "ROS" is after the name ROSE. My great grandmother was Theresa ROSE, and my grandma Catherine's favorite song is "The Rose", so that represents them. The "LYN" is after Jake's oldest sister Sarah Lynn, and the middle name "ANN" is after both of our mothers, Carol Ann and Sandra Ann, our grandma Mary Ann and Jake's older sister Rachel Ann.
Andray is a great BIG BROTHER already. Jake and I are so thankful the delivery went well and that we're all healthy. Just hard to believe we have two kids already. It's an amazing rush to know that our family continues to grow. Roslyn has feet and hands just like Dray and her daddy, it's so cute! She does have dark hair, but just not as much as Andray when he was born. Can't wait for you all to meet Roslyn...we love you all...
The Stang's...
Roslyn is already a "lil' Blue Devil fan!" She's just precious...

Andray just loves his baby sister. He's so good with her already. We miss him very much being away from him while we're at the hospital. But we're looking forward to spending most of the summer all together at home. We truly are blessed...

Andray's New Hair Cut!

Well, it's been quite a busy week...Andray desperately needed another hair cut. I miss his beautiful curls so bad, but our awesome hair stylist Nia did a great job on his hair. She cut a ton off, and now he truly looks like a BIG BOY! Andray is busier than ever. Is walking along furniture, pulling himself up, and even crawled up a couple steps the other night. He loves to play with the telephone above too, and always calls for "Dadda!" Good stuff. Enjoy the photos, less than 9 days to go until the arrival of BS#2, it's coming way too fast! Have a great week,

Love, the Stang's

His curls before his haircut, and now his short hair for the summer...

Andray loves to play "hide-n-go-seek" with Jake!

Hard to believe we're going to have another child in the house soon...we're excited and nervous all at the same time!

Andray is a big fan of spaghetti too! He's a great eater...even had pork chops last night! Needless to say, we don't think he'll ever be a vegetarian. ha!
Andray is getting much braver walking behind this toy...it's so fun to watch them take wobbly steps!
Andray got to ride on the lawnmower with Jake for the first time this past weekend. He loved it! Andray truly loves trucks and tools...such a boy, we love it!
We planted this blossom tree a few years back in memory of our loved ones that have passed and gone to heaven. Andray wasn't quite so sure about the blossoms, but hopefully we can take a photo of him each Spring by the tree to see how they both grow!
Andray's not a big fan of the feel of grass...maybe it's because Jake says we don't have grass, we just have "weeds" on our lawn, ha!

Well, we're over the 9 month mark...38 weeks and counting. I have a feeling we won't make it to 40 weeks, but we'll see. I'm very lucky, have been feeling great for the most part, just hope delivery goes well and the baby is healthy. We'll keep you all posted! As Jake and I have been saying, "the Turkey is DONE!" HA!

Happy Mother's Day!!

Happy belated Mother's Day to all of you awesome mothers out there! Hope you all had a "relaxing" weekend, even though we all know mothers never relax, ha! We had a productive weekend, my oldest brother turned 36, Jake's twin sisters turned 30, and I of course has my 7th-year anniversary of turning 21! It was a lot of fun, my parents came up to help me complete my "nesting" list (which is very long), so now I think I'm getting "mentally" prepared for the arrival of BS#2. Have a great weekend everyone...oh, and Andray stood up in the middle of the room this weekend by himself! It was the cutest thing ever! So like we thought, he'll be starting to walk just when his little brother/sister decides to arrive!
Love, the Stang's

My first Mother's Day last year...what a difference a year makes...hard to believe Baby #2 is on the way!

Andray was his Gma Frank and Mom.

Got Milk Andray?

Andray Loves His New Room!

Little Man has officially moved into his "big boy" room downstairs. I think I took it harder than Andray, but the last two nights he's slept great and wakes up happy. So hopefully the transition will not be too hard on him, especially with BS#2 only a couple weeks away! Enjoy the photos, we're doing well, and are slowly but surely getting household projects done and out of the way before the arrival of BS#2. Have a great week everyone, love the Stang's...

My Godmother Margie made the new crib set for Andray and I just love it. The fabric is so soft, no wonder Andray loves sleeping downstairs now! And needless to say, Andray loves his Joe Mauer Twins teddy bear. It's so sweet when he hugs his bear!
Thanks again to Heather (and Adam) for making this beautiful blanket for Andray...it had to be a wall hanger for the time being!
Of course, we still had to have the Duke wall shrine, so we'll have to find something to replace the spot on the wall upstairs for BS#2...
Andray truly does love to play in his new room too, so that makes Jake and I feel better about the move too!
We also just recently redid the basement bathroom for Andray. I love the new look.
Jake and I couldn't resist having the Duke poster to the right framed. It's the 2008-09 season, so the two years our kids will be born in. Thanks Art at Duke for sending us the poster!

We topped off the great weekend last week with Mya's 2nd b-day party. It was a blast and even Andray got to go down Mya's new slide from her Godmothers. It was pretty cute.

Papa Steve couldn't resist putting Andray's visor on upside down...precious.

Happy Birthday To Mya Mellissa!

Happy 2nd Birthday to our beautiful niece Mya! She's such a joy to be around, and we're excited to celebrate her birthday on Sunday! It's been quite the week. My mom and grandma were able to come with me to my last ultrasound of BS#2 yesterday. The baby is over 6 lbs already, so pretty much any day now, and no more than 4 weeks away. Unreal how fast this pregnancy went! Have a great week everyone and enjoy some photos of when Adam and Heather "surprised" us with a visit to Minnesota a couple weeks ago (thanks for the photos Heath!).
HAPPY MAY DAY EVERYONE....love, the Stang's

BS#2's profile....

BS#2 is pretty squished in there right now...I think he/she looks just like Andray's ultrasound photos, unreal!

Andray still loves playing with his Easter eggs, so I just don't have the heart to pack them away yet! Thanks for the awesome t-shirt Adam and Heather...Andray loves it, "Boy Genius!"

Oh, it was so AWESOME to see Heather again...I miss her sooooooo much, and I know Andray misses his "girlfriend" too!

Needless to say, Andray's most favorite toy is his dump truck!

Like Father, Like Son...

The morning Adam and Heather had to leave...again, it was so great to see both of them again...WE MISS OUR FRIENDS!

Andray had so much fun eating breakfast with Heather...it was pretty cute.
