Proud of our "Star of the Week!"

Our Roslyn Ann was chosen to be "Star of the Week" this week in her 2nd grade class!
She was so pumped! She brought a TON of things to school to share with her classmates!

It was also her 2nd grade class MASS this week and Roz was chosen to read the 1st Reading.
She did great, was very proud of her!

Her classmates were so cute in the choir...one kid just yelled while he sang, pretty hilarious.

Roz also got to redecorate her room and add....

BUNK BEDS....very thankful for these! Much improved furniture and organization in the girls' room!

Roz was on CLOUD 9 all week!

3 Peas in a Pod!

Looking forward to the weekend festivities...God is Good!

What a Week Preparing for Halloween!

Kids had a blast helping me get out the Fall decorations and prepare for Halloween this week!
They love their Trick-or-Treat pumpkins!

Roslyn's art work...love it!

Roslyn helped Carrine get her Ghost Suckers ready for Preschool!

Workin' Hard!

Carrine's been OBSESSED with Mini Mouse for a year now!
She was so excited for her Preschool Halloween party yesterday.
Adorable! Carrine is LOVING preschool, just wishes she could go every day!

Excited for the weekend and Halloween on Monday!

Filling the Wood Bin Tradition Continues...

Our annual "Fill the Wood Bin" tradition was a success this weekend.
Mom and Dad's yard is still stunning during the fall months!

The big kids have been planning their duties for this weekend for months now!

Even CC was a great help!

She loved riding in the tractor with Papa Larry!

Mom's garden still looks amazing.

Carrine started a new collection with the pine cones and walnuts!

Roz wanted to take this picture for Papa Steve since she knows he likes RED TRACTORS :)

Carrine's "peg leg!" with SASS!

Yep, it's official! Roz knows how to drive the Gator now :)
Watch out Redwood  County!

The kids really were a great help getting the Wood Bin full!

Andray loved stacking the wood in the bin then running up to the top to throw more wood down to the bin. He was all over the place! Roz even helped stack for a few rounds.

Then we made the trip over to visit Uncle Billy and Aunt Mary...

Their yard is stunning as well!

My girls...love them!

HOPE is the only thing STRONGER than Fear!

Harvest Celebration a Success!!!!!

This past weekend our school completed a successful Harvest Celebration!
The countless volunteer hours are truly WORTH IT for the funds raised to help improve our educational opportunities for our children.

Very thankful to be on the Board for this amazing event.

We've been saving all year to have the opportunity to bid on Andray and Roslyn's class projects at the live auction. So incredibly thankful that we were able to "win" (as Roz would say) and bring home their 2nd grade and 3rd grade projects. As Jake scratched his head the night of the event during the live auction, I was all smiles knowing how happy the big kids would be!

Quite the "retro" pillow that's been added to our living room decor :)

We were the bartenders for the first half of the night...BEST job ever. Got to see and visit with everyone!

Had the distinct privilege of being in charge of the raffle tickets/money/prizes again this year.
Quite the job handed down to me by our amazing neighbor Sue! Always learning more and more and thankful I had my mom's help last week getting it all done and accounted for!

Jake's parents won a raffle prize, so awesome!

Our beloved Father Bob came back to support the school and kiddos!
Yep, he jumped in behind the bar to "save" the keg!
Gotta love it...one of the best priests out there!

I'm definitely making a canvas like this for our family, and Frank and Stang grandkids...too special not to re-create!

The class projects and live auction items were amazing this year!

The donations and volunteer man hours are incredible to make this event a success!

A special THANK YOU to Greg and the kitchen crew for the amazing food that was prepared and served at the event.

Our kitchen is hoping to get new trays with the tip money!

A special thanks to Jake's parents for donating bails of hay and corn stocks for decorations!
They were perfect!

The girls were a great help setting up for the event with the silent auction and raffle tickets!

My dad's Duke blue bean bag boards got put to good use!

Silent auction donations were over-whelming!

My raffle ticket helpers...they were fantastic!

My dad saw this table and it's on his "bucket list" to make next summer with Andray in the wood shop!  Was an absolutely breath-taking donation to the live auction!

Was an AMAZING night with an amazing group of people from church and school.

Jake and I have already said we plan to come back every year and bartend...such a fun job!
