Andray and Roslyn continue to enlighten our lives every day...we are so thankful for two healthy kids! We traveled to Country Gallery Photo in early July, enjoy the photos. The owner Lisa does an amazing job taking photos...have a great week everyone! Love, the Stang's

Baby Ros is 2 Months Old!!

Our baby girl is two months old already, hard to believe where the time has gone. Makes me sad to think I have to return to work in a couple weeks, but at least Jake will be home yet with the kids the month of August. Roslyn had her 8 week appointment today at the clinic and weighed in at 12 lbs. 23 inches (7 lb. 1 oz 19 inches at birth), so she's growing like a weed! We love you all and hope all are well, the Stang's.

Roslyn Ann after church last Sunday...so precious.

We brought the kids to the Richmond Parade last Saturday at Gpa and Gma Stang's in town. It was a great time and Papa Steve gave Andray his first sucker! I wasn't there to witness it, but I guess Andray loved his sucker! Ros just napped with her Gma Sandy and Great Gma Stang through the entire parade.
Dray loved the parade and all the floats with balloons on them! He also enjoyed all the tractors, especially the "red" ones as Papa Steve would tell him, ha! The little red chair that Dray is sitting on is the chair Jake got as a gift from his Godmom Karen when he was little...and the tradition continues.

Ros hanging out with Great Gma Stang. The blanket around her is the blanket Great Gma Stang made and gave her for her baptism, so special.

My patriotic boys.

We continue to have a blast with our kids every day. Dray loves his blue and red nails, and carries them everywhere in the house with him. I love the way Ros is looking at Jake and Dray in this photo, like..."am I really related to those guys?" ha!

Happy 4th Ros says...my little girl is patriotic too!

Andray loves to be outside now and he cries every time we have to bring him into the house for bedtime. Thanks to Tom and Colleen, Andray now has a picnic table his size for on the deck.

Jake has been a busy dad this summer, and continues to find time to read the kids books. Ros loves the DUKE book!

Andray truly is my little All-Star!

2009 Frank Family "Staycation"

This past week my family, the Frank's, headed home to mom and dad's for our family's summer vacation...a "stay" cation. It was so amazing to be home at mom and dad's during the summer. Usually we just all make it home in the winter and never get to enjoy their yard, the gardens, and the town of Redwood Falls. It was an amazing week at home with my family, and was very tough to say good bye at the end of the week. Just thank God for the times we get together, enjoy the photos! Love, the Stang's

Andray is now walking, but still loves to hold on to Papa Larry's hand for help. Dray and Dad definitely have a special bond, it's pretty neat to see.

Andray and Isabel had a blast together last week, and even got to take baths together! Gotta love it.

Roslyn loves her Auntie Megan very much. Thanks for the dress Heath for Ros, it fits her perfect and is so adorable!

Andray loved having Heidi (Aaron's dog) home and smiled every time Heidi came near. Dray and Isa also had a ball playing the piano. Uncle Aaron taught them some notes:)

Gram came out to the house one afternoon to visit. Roslyn is wearing the dress that Gram bought for her when she was born. It fits her perfect now, so special.

Girl Cousins, what a special bond they have, Ros loves her big cousin Isa!

Mom and Dad found this car at a garage sale and it was a hit for Andray and Isa. Dray just loved turning the steering wheel around, so funny.

Mom and Dad thoroughly enjoyed giving the grandchildren rides around the yard in the Gator. Needless to say, Isa and Dray never wanted to get off the Gator!

We even got to have campfires at night and roast marshmellows. Isa was a big help!

Isa was so busy helping with everything...she even wanted to help Grandma with watering the rock garden. Mom and Dad's yard just gets more beautiful every year.

Andray with his Uncle Aaron, pretty special.

Isa even help put out the campfire. It was smokey!

And we of course found time to play cards. Ros even joined us for a couple games one night. She was so content on Papa Larry's lap.

Roslyn with her Grandpa and Goddad...so sweet.

A DAY ON THE FARM

Great Gram with Roslyn (7 weeks), Andray (16 months) and Isabel (2 1/2 years). All the kids were geared up in their Minnesota Twins apparel for their visit to the Lingl farm.

We can sense that Andray is a future farmer. He loved walking in the bean fields with his Godfather Jacob. It was pretty cute.

Even Ros got to walk in the bean fields with Auntie Megan. It was so beautiful out at the farm.

Isa, Aaron, Jacob and Andray walked for quite a while in the bean fields. Brought back lots of memories of picking "rock" back in the day!

I sure do love my hubby...

Isa and Dray loved seeing the cows too. Here Aaron and Isa are checking out the cattle.

Papa Larry held Andray the entire time while we checked out the cows.

We even found time to ride the old three-wheeler around the farm yard. Pretty special, we grandchildren used to ride this very same three-wheeler around the farm when we were little, now the great grandchildren get to enjoy the three-wheeler.

My Uncle Jeff bought a new four-wheeler for the farm, so Jake and Andray drove around the farm on that. Andray loved it! So did Jake, he loves to cruise around on four-wheelers.

Gram continues to amaze me. Not only is she 82 years of age and still raises cattle and does all the chores, but her yard and multiple gardens are immaculate (not a weed anywhere!). It was so peaceful out at the farm that day, just wish we could visit more. I hope I have half the energy Gram has when I'm 82, she's very special to all of us and we miss Grandpa very much.

Roslyn's Holy Baptism

Roslyn Ann was baptised on July 11th, and it was a beautiful day, ceremony and gathering of family. We were very excited to baptise her and were so happy that our immediate families could make it home for the special ocassion. Enjoy the photos!

This is the blanket that Jake's aunt, Sister Perpetua Stang, crocheted for all the Stang great nieces and nephews to be baptised in. The baptismal gown is what Jake wore 27 years ago for his baptism. Although Roslyn didn't wear his gown for the actual baptism, I just had to get a photo of her in it. She was so pretty!

My grandma Catherine made another beautiful circle blanket for Roslyn to have. This is the baptismal gown that my grandma made for me to wear 28 years ago, Andray wore this gown and now Roslyn got to wear it. Gram was very proud to see a great grandchild baptised in the gown. It was very special.

Thanks Gram for making Roslyn her own special blanket, what a true treasure! We love you!

Roslyn is very lucky to have Uncle Aaron and Auntie Rhonda as her Godparents. Hard to believe just 3 days later Rhonda gave birth to Baby Neely!

Andray loves his baby sister so much!

Jake and I just thank God every day for our two beautiful and healthy kids. We really are lucky to have what we have and are truly thankful.

Jake's great aunt Sister Mary Bernerd Stang (an aunt to Jake's Gpa Andy) was able to make it to the baptism, so there were 5 generations of Stangs there...Sister Mary Bernerd Stang, Gpa Andy, Steve, Jake and Andray/Roslyn. Pretty special!

Roslyn loves her Godmom! Thanks Rhonda for all you do for us!

What a special sacrament, Baptism. We are so thankful Father Bob could do the mass and that the weather was nice. We probably had the best day in July for Baptism, the sky was beautiful.
