Starting Bed Rest Tomorrow...In Need of Prayers

All three kids' prayer blankets from church are out as I'll go on bed rest tomorrow until the baby is born in March sometime...thank you everyone for your extra thoughts and prayers.

 Soon, very soon a healthy baby will join our family - Jake and I are sure of it.

Final Ultrasound Scheduled for Tomorrow!

Excited for what might be our last ultrasound with Baby Stang #3 tomorrow! I'm bringing the kids with to see the baby on the screen. Megan and Isa are going to join us as well - will be their first time seeing a live ultrasound - pretty special.

The kids are pretty jacked to have a slumber party with Isa and Amelia tonight - they are also pumped about going to the ultrasound tomorrow - Andray can't wait to see the "magic wand" that the tech will use on my belly...he cracks me up!

The month of March is almost here - truly the greatest time of year! So glad this baby will join our family during March Madness! Going to be very enjoyable doing feedings in front of the TV with great basketball to watch...and of course to be able to cheer on DUKE!

Roslyn...Our Lil' Trooper

It's no fun being sick, especially at the age of 3! But Roslyn has been a champ and she's enjoying a restful day at home with Daddy today! Hoping she's on the road to recovery!

Despite being sick, Roslyn helped my parents put the bassinet together on Sunday. This bassinet is very special, it's been in the Lingl family since the 1940's! Also, all 3 of my brothers and I slept it in. Will be pretty cool for Baby Stang #3 to use it for the first couple months of his/her life. A huge THANK YOU  to my parents for fixing up the bassinet and delivering it to our home.

Of course, once Roz got the sheets and blanket in the bassinet, she wanted to

climb in and try it out...too cute.

Less than a month to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Once we explained to Roz that she couldn't sleep in the bassinet, she ran off to get her Sunshine Bear and favorite blanket to tuck Sunshine in with...so sweet. Roslyn is going to be a great BIG SISTER!

We also showed the kids the newborn diapers this weekend...Andray thought it was funny that the diapers were smaller than his face...he's already told us that "he'll get the wipes, but he's NOT feeding that baby!"  LOVE IT :)

We Had a Great Valentine's Day Night as a Family!

Jake and I had a perfect date night last night with the kiddos. Had supper, opened presents and played a game of Sorry before bedtime...doesn't get any better than that!

We are all getting very anxious and excited for the baby to arrive...4 weeks and counting. I have a feeling Rozzy won't let the baby out of her sight once it's born!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!!!

Hope you all have a very Happy Valentine's Day today! Andray is pumped for his pre-school V-day party today. Both kids are excited for their daycare party as well...fun memories being made.

Think Roz was just a tad excited to wear her pink ballerina skirt to daycare today? :)

Andray's present that he made for us at pre-school- he's kept the present a secret and has reminded us since Tuesday that we can't OPEN the gift until Thursday! Too funny.

I have the BEST men in my life! Thank you Jake and Andray for the adorable message on the "teacher board" (as the kids call it) this morning - we love you both too!

Woke up to a BEAUTIFUL day in the neighborhood...going to be a great day.

Loved the SCH Tour...Now Lent Begins During College BB "Rivalry Week!"

I'm so glad we went to the SCH Birthing Center Tour as a family. Now the kids will be familiar with the hospital when they come to meet their lil' baby brother or sister for the first time...just over 4 weeks to go, hard to believe!

Roslyn loved helping the tour lady turn the lights on and off in the different rooms. Roz also loved the hand sanitizer machines in the rooms - SCH might run out of the sanitizer while we're staying in the hospital next month, ha!

HAPPY ASH WEDNESDAY EVERYONE - hard to believe Lent begins today and Baby Stang #3 will be born before Easter Sunday - lots to prepare yet before the big arrival. Also hard to believe that Jake and I were sitting in Cameron Indoor Stadium six years ago this month. Totally wish we could be there tonight when the Blue Devils take on UNC for College BB Rivalry Week! GO DUKE!

Excited to Tour the New Birthing Center!!!!!

Jake and I are excited to bring the kids to the new Birthing Center at the SCH tonight. Should be fun to see the new addition and show/prepare the kids of where their baby brother/sister will be born and where they get to come visit us! Less than 5 weeks to go, it's coming fast!

Excited for the Weekend!!

It has been a long and exhausting week- we are excited to "chillax" this weekend!

Hard to believe I'll be taking Andray to JCPenny on Saturday to take his 5-year-old Photos!

Time is going by way too fast!

Recently we took the kids to a hotel/water park - they LOVED it!

 They both enjoyed "relaxing" in the hotel sofa chairs.

But by far their favorite part was swimming at the water park and going down the slides!

We had a great time as a family of FOUR...the kids had a "slumber" party with their sleeping bags and pillow pets in the hotel room - next year Baby Stang #3 will be in a pack-in-play with us - fun to think of these 2 teaching the baby how to splash and swim!

Less Than 6 Weeks to Go!!!!!

 Hard to believe we will get to meet Baby Stang #3 in less than 6 weeks! Looks like mid-March is the target induction date for the lil' Tike! We definitely think he/she has a nose like Andray's, can't wait to see the face in person!

Jake came through on Sunday - I craved both DOTS and NERDS when I was pregnant with Dray and Roz! Same cravings with this baby too - 33 weeks and counting here!

Sunday was so much fun digging out our Boy and Girl Newborn clothes. I found sleepers that each of the kids wore their first weeks of life. They thought the clothes were so funny. Andray informed us that he could NOT squeeze into this blue lil' sleeper (too funny!). Jake and I think the kids look like Bobble Heads in this photo!  Roz was also pumped to figure out how to put the bottles together with the nipples. I have a feeling she is going to be my #1 Helper with Baby Stang!

The kids truly are growing before our very own eyes. Andray LOVES all his cars from the movie CARS. Think he's a little obsessed with Mater and Lightning?  Andray's newest name for Baby Stang...

Lightning McStang if it's a boy or Lightning McSally if it's a girl.

Roz loves to set up picnics in her bedroom for herself and Baby Sally. Such a Mother Hen!

Heather & Adam are Officially Back to MN!

Heather and Adam are officially moved back to MN and were able to make the trip to St. Cloud on Saturday night. Fortunate for us girls, Adam and Jake stayed home with the kiddos so that we pregnant ladies could head downtown for a Howies Reunion with old co-workers.
Was a great time and so good to see old friends!
