Little Man's First Gussie Days

Hello everyone - Hope you had a great weekend. It was finally summer around here in St. Augusta, as we celebrated St. Augusta Days (Gussie Days) on Saturday. Andray had his first official babysitter come over (our co-workers daughter Lauren), and he slept the entire time while we were at the street dance, so that was great! For the last week we've actually been able to drop the late night feeding so he's sleeping now from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m......and let me tell you, Jake and I have never felt so refreshed! It's amazing how important uninterupted sleep is! Enjoy the photos, Andray is getting so big, cooing more now and smiling a ton. Jake can even get him to giggle some now...it's pretty amazing how fast they change. Have a great week everyone!

Celest, Jake and Andray

Andray and I went to Jake's "old-timer" baseball game in St. Nicholas on Saturday afternoon. It was a fun time and Jake had a diving catch in center field. Yep, I was that wife that stood up to cheer...good stuff.

Andray was so cute in the sun with his hat on.....

Andray slept until 8 a.m. on Saturday, we were just a little stoked! His hair was sticking straight up though, it was hilarious! Talk about bed head!

Andray got this outfit from Megan's mom Lynn and her sister Abby for his baptism. It fits him perfect and he looked pretty cool with his hoody on all day on Sunday!

Like I said, Andray loves to smile now...pretty good stuff!

Our Little "Hudini" doesn't need to be swaddled anymore when he goes down for naps or at nighttime. Gosh these three months have flown by, they really do change a ton their first year of life!

Happy Belated Father's Day!

Hello all - Just wanted to wish all you fathers out there a HAPPY BELATED FATHER'S DAY. Jake had a very special 1st Father's Day weekend, and he says thanks to all of you that called, texted or sent cards...very thoughtful. We had a busy weekend. On Saturday, we hosted an early father's day get-together at our house with the Lingl side and the Rausch side relatives. It was a great time..and a lot of people showed up! On Sunday, the three of us spent the day together...went to church and out for breakfast. Andray did great through church and we thought he'd fall asleep while we ate. Needless to say he didn't (cause kids always seem to get their way one way or another), and we ordered, ate and paid our check in about 20 minutes with a crying child. And of course once we got back in the car to head home, Andray was asleep. But he's a GREAT BABY! Is on a great schedule and is 90% of the time happy and content. He just obviously didn't want to go out to eat on Sunday!

Have a great week everyone...we love you all and Andray is doing great...sleeping through the night consistently (keeping our fingers crossed) and is smiling more and more. Makes it even harder to leave for work in the morning....

Love, Jake, Celest and Andray

Little Man in his "Jesus" sandles as Jake calls them...His feet are getting so big, the sandles are almost too small and I just got them for him! He was so cute in his outfit from cousin Kristen Frank...thanks so much Kris! It's a 6 mo. size and fits him perfect, unreal!

Jake and his Little Man this past weekend...needless to say, Jake was a "PROUD DADDY!"

My Grandma Catherine was able to make it on Saturday for the big family party...it was so great to see her and it had been over a month since she'd seen Andray last, so she couldn't believe how big he had gotten...they just grow so fast! I love my Gram!

Gram with three of her great grandchildren: Jett (5), Kennedee (2 1/2), Andray (3 months)... just missing Isa Lu (1 1/2 yrs.) and Gracie Raye (1 year).

Andray with his Stang girl cousins...Skyler (5), Ella (3 1/2), Mya (1 year)...we felt so bad for Skyler having to hold Andray because he was so hungry and was just balling. Skyler was a great sport though! It was so neat to have all the cousins together on Saturday. Just wish Isa Lu could have been there too!

I had a great weekend with Andray...Mondays are so special for me because I don't have to work, so the two of us get to spend a lot of "QT" together!

Andray was a little confused on Saturday with all the different voices around and all the different people holding him! But he definitely LOVES HIS DADDY! He wore this bib all weekend long...

Little Man is 3 Months Old!

Little Man is 3 Months old today....hard to believe! He is doing well, and was a champ last night. Took a bath at 10 p.m. and ate 5 oz. after, then slept until 7:15 a.m. this morning! He is the best baby ever! Have a great day everyone!

Andray just after he woke up from his nap when I got home for lunch today. Jake dressed him so cute in his "Just Hanging" t-shirt and blue jeans...gotta love it!

Andray is so funny now. It's like he knows that once we put a bib on him that he's going to eat. It's fun to watch his mouth move, just waiting for his bottle!

What an amazing 3 months it's been. For all of you who aren't parents, you should try it, it's the most amazing experience!

Daddy Daycare Has Begun...

Hello All - hope you are all doing well...Andray is keeping us busy and will officially be 3 months old tomorrow. Being a parent is the greatest experience ever and Anray truly keeps us on our toes! Jake officially started "Daddy Daycare" today, and I went home for lunch to find them both doing well...so that's always a plus! I'm the very jealous wife/mom that sits at work now knowing that my boys are together at home...wish it was me...but like Jake said, I could've been a teacher. The three best things about teaching are June, July and August, ha!

Love you all,

Celest, Jake and Andray

Little Man at 12 weeks of age...he used to be smaller than his Joe Mauer bear...gosh he's grown up fast!

Andray on Saturday before we headed over to our neighbor's graduation party...he was sporting his Twins outfit and his cool Twins baseball cap that he got to borrow from Andrew, thanks!

Last week just before we went out for a cold, brisk walk...gotta love the hoodies!

Andray is so much fun to make laugh now, but I don't dare try when he's hungry!

Daddy giving strict instructions to Andray already! Having a heart-to-heart...

I finally got Andray's things up on his walls in his bedroom yesterday on my day off from work! We really like it. Thanks to everyone for their gifts....he is one lucky little boy to have such special things to decorate his room with...This is on the wall above his crib with a blue cross from Aaron, Megan and Isa hanging in the middle.

OF COURSE Andray has to have a Duke corner in his room with all his stuff. I figured it was time to retire my Bobby Hurley jersey from 8th grade. I wore it to the Duke game that Jake and i went to last year, and thought it's time to hand it down to the next gereration. Trust me, it was a tough thing to give away, but we know Andray will keep good care of it!

These are the angels that Andray got from his Godmother Sarah and his great gram Catherine Lingl. The praying cow on the right he got from some friends, and i'm missing the blue rosary that he got from his great gram MaryAnn Rausch. It's another special wall for him to look at! Of note, this is the shelf that Jake had in his room when he was growing up...pretty neat.

Well, that's all for now folks. Andray still loves to suck on both hands, and he's really staring at his hands more and more now. It's kind of funny to watch him turn his hands back and forth and figure out what they are. Andray is a big fan of summer...he can finally wear shorts now!

Andray's Smile is Contagious!

Hello All - well, our Little Man is 12 weeks old already and will officially be three months old next week. So hard to believe where the time is going! Andray is doing great...smiles a ton more, can follow voices and faces, and has discovered his hands! It's pretty cool to watch him check his own hands out. Also, he got to spend all last week with Grandma Sandy, and this week Grandma Carol has come to stay with him and watch him while Jake and I are at work. He's a pretty lucky boy to be spoiled by his Grandmas. Jake's done with school the end of this week, so then it's Daddy Daycare this summer. Jake's looking forward to that. Hope you are all well and have a super month of June!

Love the Stang's...

Andray's smile literally lights up a room!

Instead of just sucking his thumb, Andray tries to put both fists in his mouth at the same time. Pretty funny stuff...but he's truly discovered his hands now. Fun to watch him stare at them!

Jake and Andray and I spent the entire day out at the Stang farm on Saturday helping pick rocks and do odds and ends around the farm. It was a beautiful day and Grandma Sandy helped Andray pick his very first rock! We even let him wear his John Deer hat...ha!

A beautiful day out at the farm....

On Sunday Jake and I brought Andray to his first baseball game. The St. Augusta Gussies were playing the Cold Spring Rockies...Andray was pretty pumped to go!

Gosh, I just can't get enough of my son!

Rachel's (Jake's sister) fiance, John Rossman, plays baseball for the Cold Spring Rockies and there was an article in the St. Cloud Times paper on Sunday. They referred to John as the "resident dinosaur"...quite fitting that Andray wore this Dino baseball league outfit....now we're all going to call John "Dino"! ha!

Taking in the "rays" with Gma at the baseball game.

Andray had a blast at the game with his Gma, cousin Mya and Aunties Rhonda and Rachel. He pretty much slept through the whole game!

Andray sure does love his Uncle Ice....

This morning Gma Carol was combing his hair after getting changed. Andray was all "jacked up" this morning. Happy as could be. I think Gma Carol is going to have way too much fun with him this week!

Andray said, "That's it, I'm calling Grandma!" So he did! He got to spend all last week with Gma Sandy and now all this week with Gma Carol. Talk about a lucky little boy!

You're right Andray...Chicks do Dig You! Love you Little Man....
