Happy New Year...Andray's Going to Be a Big Brother!

SURPRISE! Yep, that's right, Andray's going to be a BIG BROTHER this May already. We were totally in shock when we found out 3 weeks ago, but we're almost half way done already with the pregnancy (19 weeks – almost 5 months along already...figured we have to be fair and take monthly photos of the unborn baby).

Tentative due date is May 29, 2009 (so I won't miss any games or events for work). They will be roughly 14 months apart (super close!), but that's God's plan I guess.

Just wanted to let you all know. Holy crap, I know. But Andray and the baby will be best of friends (so we hope), and God never gives us more than we can handle.

Sarah and Eric are huge UNC fans...and they love to rub it in and make fun of Duke! Ha! So for Christmas they bought all the nieces and nephew a UNC t-shirt for March Madness...hilarious! Jake and I couldn't believe our own eyes that Andray was in "baby blue UNC colors"

FRIEND'S CHRISTMAS - December 23, 2008 - Redwood Falls, Minn.

Andray and I went into town to visit Ann and Andrew for Christmas. Andrew is our Godson and it was so fun to see him again and for he and Andray to play together. Emily, Ann's sister, showed up too with her two kids, they all played so well together! It was a good time!

STANG WEDDING - December 19, 2008

Jake's cousin Brianna got married on Friday, Dec. 19, in St. Augusta. It was an honor to have the wedding party and her family get ready at our house! What a beautiful family photo in the snow below.....

Hello all...it's inevitable in Minnesota...cold weather and lots of snow this past weekend. I actually don't mind the snow, it's just the cold and the wind! Oh well, that's what we get for living in this crazy state! Hope you are all getting excited for the Holidays, I know Jake and Andray and I are. P.S., Jake was pretty excited when we woke up Sunday morning and it was snowing. He got to use his brand new snow blower for the first time! He loved it!

Andray in his new winter pajamas...they are so soft, he feels like a big pillow in them! I wish I could wear them...I love sweats!

We're still working on the crawling aspect of Andray's life...he's just not digging it. But that's fine with us, we love the immobile stage!

Saturday our nieces Ella (4 years) and Skyler (5 years) came over to play with Andray all day! I stayed with the kids and the four of us had a blast! I got to watch two Barbie movies with them and actually learned great "life-lessons" watching them...good stuff! Andray loves his cousins!

Dray Is 9 Months Old! (Nine is Fine)

Happy Holidays everyone - Hard to believe Christmas is just two weeks away and our son is already 9 months old today! Time is just flying by! We are well, Andray's top four teeth are now coming in, but he's been a champ through it all, we are very blessed. Also, I put Andray in these stone washed jeans for my big bro Aaron...Aaron wore these kinds of jeans all the time in high school, gotta love the 80's/early 90's! Love to you all...have a great couple weeks preparing for the Holidays!

Andray loves to get piggy back rides now...he's so much fun.

Sunday we went to Jake's parents' farm to bake Christmas goodies...Andray gave his Godmom Sarah a UNC basketball ornament...so funny!

Andray had a blast helping his Papa Steve cheer on Daunte Culpepper and playing with his Godmom Sarah, even though she had on a UNC sweatshirt!

Andray's big cousins Skyler and Ella sure do love hugging Andray!

Skyler and Ella had fun decorating a ginger bread house...Auntie Rhonda even got in the action and made some incredible ice cycles on the house...I think Rhonda has a new calling! ha!

A Wonderful Thanksgiving Weekend!

Hello all - hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. I actually had the entire weekend off from work, and I took full advantage. We had a great day with the Stang's on Thursday, then spent Friday through Sunday at home putting up all the Christmas decorations and wrapping all the gifts. We were all tired by Sunday night, but thoroughly enjoyed our time together. Andray wasn't quite so sure about the Christmas tree at first, but he's enjoying it more and more now.
