GO TWINS!!!

Hello Everyone - It's BASEBALL SEASON...hard to believe with all the white snow on the ground today, but Andray is all geared up for the MINNESOTA TWINS season-opener tonight. He is a great baby, is on a 3-4 hour feed/sleep schedule, and yesterday ate 5 ounces from a bottle at one sitting...pretty crazy for a two week old baby boy. He's a good eater, needless to say. Hope all is well for everyone...hard to believe Andray will be three weeks old tomorrow already, maternity leave is going by way too quickly...I just love being home with him!
Love you all and GO TWINS!

Thank Heaven for March Madness!

Hello Everyone - wow, what a time it's been the past 9 days being parents...we are thouroughly enjoying it, yet lacking in the sleep department! It's totally worth it though, especially now that it's officially MARCH MADNESS! Let me tell you, feedings have been a joy as we've been able to sit in front of the tube and watch bball...absolutely heavenly....thought we'd update the blog with a few photos before the big March Madness weekend and Easter weekend of course as well. We love you all and can't wait for the rest of you to meet little Andray Paul. He's truly a blessing from heaven....

Love, Jake & Celest & Andray

Jake and I filled out a bracket for Andray as well and we have the three of them posted above our TV downstairs....GO DUKE!

Andray already knows the hand signal for a three-pointer for DUKE!
Andray's eyes are bright blue...absolutely beautiful! (For a guy that is! ha)
Andray Paul on Thursday, the opening day of March Madness...just 9 days old.
Andray has identical feet to Jake, just a lot smaller of course, they're precious.
Jake thinks Andray has PaPi Arms in this photo...already got him lifting weights!

Uncle Aaron still appreciates Andray's Zoolander Looks! (So Hot Right Now!)

Needless to say, Andray was not a fan of his first bath on Saturday at five days old!

Cousin Mya (10 mo.) loves her new baby cousin Andray! She's so gentle with him!

Andray with his other three girl cousins...Ella (3 yr.), Isabel (16 mo.) and Skyler (4 yr.)

Mommy holding Andray at one week old...this will be the last photo taken from this place at home, hard to believe the past 10 months went so fast! ah!

Andray compared to Jake's Jordan hat...he's so little! Wish he could stay this way forever!

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE...SAFE TRAVELS TO YOU ALL AND GOD BLESS!!!!!

It's A Boy!!!

Hello Family and Friends...on Tuesday, March 11, 2008, Jake and I experienced the best day of our lives when we brought into this world our first born son, ANDRAY PAUL STANG. He was 7 pounds, 4 ounces, and 21 inches long, and born at 12:39 p.m.

What an amazing experience to become a parent. Jake is an amazing father, and has been there every step of the way, I am so blessed to have a beautiful and perfect little son, and more importantly, the best husband a woman could ever ask for.

We are so excited for you all to meet little Andray. He is named after three of his great grandfathers...Andrew Stang, Raymond Rausch and Raymond Lingl. We took the first three letters of Andrew and first three letters of Raymond to get ANDRAY. Jake and my middle names are both Ray as well after our grandfathers, so there's a lot of meaning behind his first name.

His middle name is very special too...Paul is the name of Jacob's brother who passed away as an infant 31 years ago. Andray is very lucky to have such a strong and special middle name. We just pray that some day he will truly appreciate the meaning of his name.

Sorry that it took so long to update the blog everyone, being a parent is a full time job, and we have gotten little rest, but lots of joy. Andray can't wait to meet all of you.

To view a photo of him, check out the St. Cloud Hospital website and click on Celestine S.:

God Bless you all and we will get photos of Andray up on the blog as soon as we can...

Love the Stang's....

Jacob, Celestine and Andray Paul

On Monday night, Jake and I went in to the hospital to start enducing labor, less than 12 hours before Andray was born.

Proud Daddy holding Andray for the first time after he was cleaned up.

Jake, Celest and Andray with their doctor, Dr. Zweiner, just minutes after Andray was born.

I had this t-shirt made for Andray and we surprised Jake with it on him. Andray is so excited that he was born during MARCH MADNESS!

This is the outfit that Andray came home in. Grandma and Papa Frank got it for him. It says little all-star on it with the #11...couldn't have been more perfect for him. Uncle Aaron loves the fact that Andray has his "Zoolander" look going in this photo too! ha!

Life is rough, even at 2 days old! Just a few minutes before going home on Thursday!

The Stang's in their hospital room on Thursday afternoon just before heading home. Let me tell you all, it's quite a rush packing up that little baby and putting him in your car and heading home for the first time. That's when it set in for Jake and I that he was our responsibility. What joy, but scared and nervous all at the same time. Andray has been a great baby and we are so blessed to have him. Hard to imagine life without him already.

Love you all!

Just a Few Days Left!

Hello All -

Well, the end is definitely in sight now. If I'm not born by Monday (10th), my mom and dad are going into the hospital Monday night to start the "process." On Tuesday morning, mom will be evaluated, and if things look good, they'll start labor and I should be born on the 11th! We'll keep you posted, but everyone is feeling great, including Dad, and we're all anxious, nervous and excited.
The Update on BS at 39 weeks along: Your baby's waiting to greet the world! He continues to build a layer of fat to help control his body temperature after birth, but it's likely he already measures about 20 inches and weighs a bit over 7 pounds, a mini watermelon. (Boys tend to be slightly heavier than girls.) The outer layers of his skin are sloughing off as new skin forms underneath.
Just wanted to share a couple photos of my great-Gram to be, and mom. Great-Gram and Gma Carol came up to visit last night....they brought home made cookies and cinnamon rolls...awesome!
Can't wait to meet you all, in just a matter of days....ahhhhhhhhh!

Love, Jake, Celest and BS

Great-Gram Catherine gave this angle and snow globe to BS...very special.

Great-Gram and Gma Carol say they can "finally" tell that I'm pregnant!
Only took over 9 months, ha!

Hello All - Just wanted to let you all know my due date is one week from today. Mom and Dad are pretty anxious. I am too, and have already been keeping Mom up at night...she doesn't mind, it gives her time to think, ha! Can't wait to meet you all, Mom and Dad will call with the news as soon as I'm born! Have a great week!

Love, BS
