An Amazing Month...

Wow, it's been a while since I've had time to post new photos. Since that time, Ros has turned a month old already (time is flying by way too fast!), both kids got to go to a wedding (surprise, surprise), Jake celebrated his second Father's Day and got to go fishing with my brother and dad, so I went home to Redwood (for the first time since Christmas) with both kids and had a great week with my mom. We got to see a ton of old friends and family members in Redwood, so that was great too! Hope all is well, Jake and I are loving every minute home with the kids, and have a SAFE and FUN July 4th weekend!

Roslyn Ann - One Month Old

Ros telling Jake, "Happy Father's Day, Daddy."

The kids and I headed to DQ to get Jake a Father's Day cake. It was so good! Thank goodness DQ does orders from the phone and pick ups at the drive through window. There's no way I would've gotten both kids into the DQ and back out safely along with the cake, ha!

Pictures like these truly are "priceless." Ros with her Great Gram at the wedding in June.

Love to get the hand comparison photos...very special.
The meal at the wedding took a while to be served, so Papa Larry and Jake headed over to McDonald's for Andray...it was Andray's first Happy Meal! (first of many I'm sure, ha!). He didn't really dig the chicken nuggets, but of course loved the french fries...they are a vegetable, right?! Ha!

After the wedding, I brought the kids out to my Gram's for a day on the farm in Olivia. Andray got to watch Great Gram feed the cows. My Gram continues to amaze me daily. She's 81 years old and still does the chores, feeds the cows with 5 gallon pails every day, and keeps her yard/gardens immaculate! Talk about a lady with energy.

Andray and Gram checking out the water hole for the cattle.
Dray also made it up Great Gram's stairs! He thought he was pretty tough stuff! My cousins and I had fun climbing those steps back in the day. We also fell down those steps quite a few times too! At least Gram has carpet on the steps now to cushion the fall!
Like Brother, Like Sister...GO DUKE!

Mom had a ball with Ros and Dray home in Redwood for the week. I just can't believe how beatufiul it is out at my mom and dad's place. It gets more pretty every time I come home. Andray loved touching the leaves and flowers while we were home!
Little Man loved all of Grandma Carol's statues in her gardens too!
Dray learned how to turn on the radio at Grandma and Papa Frank's house this past week too. He even knows how to turn the volume up and down!

"A Tool Head," that's exactly what Andray is. Anything with wheels and tools, Andray loves to play with. He thoroughly enjoyed his ride around the yard with Papa Larry on the Gator! Those two have some special kind of bond we swear.

Up Close & Personal

Well, our two little ones are doing great. Andray continues to take steps, and he loves his baby sister. We are all tired, but loving every minute at home together. Have a great week everyone. Love the Stang's

Our "blue-eyed" babies...

Roslyn refuses to be swadled (another Hudini), and she loves to sleep with her hands folded before her face, so sweet.

Papa Larry sure does love his grandchildren.

Dad made this shelf above the window for Andray. It's beautiful and we are SO THANKFUL!

Andray gets so excited now when he stands up and takes steps!

Andray loves to play with his sister's toes too! Roslyn is a good sport about it.

Andray's 15 Months Old!

Andray turned 15 months old today...seems just like yesterday I was home with him on maternity leave and we took this photo together when he was 2 weeks old (see below). Andray is doing great, he brings this dump truck with him where ever he scoots too, and he continues to work on walking and climbing up and down the steps. We're doing great, I'm in heaven being home with the kids this summer. Just wish it'd stay June forever now...already dreading going back to work! Have a great weekend everyone, Love the Stang's
Me and Baby Andray...14 1/2 months ago.

Me and Baby Roslyn...just 2 1/2 weeks old.

Jake loves to lay on the couch with Roslyn on his chest. Andray loves to climb up next to her and touch her head and hands. So cute!

Another Monumental Week

Hi everyone - hope this finds you all doing well and enjoying the summer. We had another spectacular week at home. Jake is finally done with school. This past weekend Jake's aunt, Sister Perpetua was home, so the Stang extended family got together at the farm, it was great to see Sr. P again! Also, ANDRAY WALKED FROM THE TV TO THE COUCH DOWNSTAIRS FOR THE FIRST TIME!...Jake even caught it on film, so watch out everyone, Andray truly is on the "move." He continues to be a great big brother to Roslyn and she is just a doll. We are in heaven being home with the kids. Take care everyone. I'm posting a lot of photos because I'm starting to run out of time to update the blog, so it might be a while before the next update!

Love, the Stang's

Andray loves to stand by the tub now while I fill it with water for him. Hard to believe he's starting to walk (finally as some would say.). Jake and I couldn't resist taking this photo. It will definitely "re-appear" for his high school graduation, ha!

Roslyn's first time meeting Sister Perpetua...it was so great to see her again!
Gpa and Gma Stang with their 12 great grandchildren. A few got cut off in the photo (sorry Ella, Elliot and Bluma)...looks like we need a panoramic lense!
Gpa Andy was happy to hold Andray, the next to pass on the Stang name.
Andray always stands up by me when I'm feeding Roslyn to kiss or touch her head, it's pretty cute.
Roslyn loves her new green star blanket, thanks Heather and Adam!
It's the softest blanket ever!
This is the smurf sleeper that I wore in 1981...crazy stuff.
Roslyn is doing great in her crib. Thanks Godmom Rhonda for the letters of her name for the wall in her room, we love the pink color!

Today Andray, Roslyn and I went to the playground by the church. Andray and I had fun going down the slide and swinging on the swings. Dray's favorite part of the trip was throwing rocks up onto the slide and then pushing them back onto the ground.

Pretty in Pink and Purple...

Just a perspective of how small Roslyn really is...or just how big Jake's feet are and his head, ha!

Last week my great friends Jolene and Jody came to visit us. It was an amazing day to have them at our place with Ros and I...made me realize how much I miss my friends! Thanks for coming to visit Neen and Jody...just missed having Jen with.

Great Gram Lingl bought this BEAUTIFUL frilly dress for Roslyn. She wore it to church on Sunday, along with the pink little sweater that I wore as a baby. It's so fun to dress up little girls!

Andray is doing so great entertaining himself while I feed Roslyn. He continues to love books and reads about 100 every day, we swear.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK EVERYONE, WE LOVE YOU ALL!

Love you all, the Stang's

Andray has truly adjusted well to having Roslyn in the house. He still loves to hug her, so sweet.

Go Twins!

Ros is a very alert baby...
Dressed in her Sunday best...she did great at her first mass. The little pink sweater was given to me by my Uncle Billy and Aunt Mary when I was born. Pretty special my mom kept it all these years.

The Stang cousins out at the farm on Sunday for
Papa Steve's bday. L to R...Mya (2 yrs), Ella (4 1/2 yrs), Andray (14 mo.), Skyler (6 yrs) and Baby Ros (8 days old).

This red chair was Jake's growing up. I just can't believe how big Andray looks now, what a BIG BOY!

Mom and daughter heading to SCSU.

Lil' Ros will spend a lot of time at SCSU in the future!
4 generations of Lingl's...love you Gram!

Jake loves coudling with Ros on the couch....

We are so thankful that Auntie Rhonda accepted to be Roslyn's Godmother...Ros can't wait to meet her Godfather Aaron in July!

Mom came to help me during the first week when I came home from the hospital and I am SO GRATEFUL! She was an amazing help with the house, the kids, and for me. She even taught Andray to do "cheers!" at the dinner table. It's so cute, now Andray even says "cheers" when he clanks our glasses, so cute! THANKS MOM FOR ALL YOUR HELP!

Auntie Sarah and Big Cousin Ella came last week to help one morning with the kids. Ella and Sarah even helped give Ros her first bath at home, pretty special. As we say, "scrapbook material."
