1st Grade & Kindergarten Complete...Unreal!

So hard to believe that Andray and Roslyn have completed 1st grade and Kindergarten!
What an incredibly great year at school for both of them!
So thankful they both love school, both academically and socially!
Andray wore this same shirt for his first day of school last fall.
The night before his last day of school this week, we were laying his clothes out on the floor before bedtime.
He said to me, "Mom, I wore this "1st Grade Rocks!" shirt on the first day of school and I didn't even know then if 1st grade would rock. Well, now I know...1st grade really does rock Mom! I definitely need to wear this shirt to school tomorrow."
Little Man, the wheels are always turning in your head...you are so smart and sweet ;)
Ah, are we going to miss Roslyn's teacher Mrs. Noss next year!
Roslyn absolutely LOVES school, and a big part of that reason is Mrs. Noss.
So so so happy for our Miss Rozzy Roz!

When dropping the kids off at school yesterday, I totally teared up giving Mrs. Noss a hug of gratitude. But then I walked down to the 1st grade room to give Andray's teacher Mrs. Peterson a hug and thank her for everything this year. She told me that we have a great son, but she's already looking forward to having Roslyn in class next year! So awesome ;)

Good bye Kindergarten and 1st grade...HELLO SUMMER!
Roslyn's final "journal entry" from Kindergarten...priceless!

Field Trip Joys with the Big Kids!

Last week I was fortunate enough to chaperone Andray and Roslyn's field trip to the Pioneer Park.
What an incredible day spent with these two and their classmates!
I'm just thankful that I'm still "cool enough" to sit with on the school bus ;)
Treasure these moments!
I love history!
Classes were held in this one-room Classroom up until 1970!
Brings back great memories of watching Little House on the Prairie episodes on TV and reading all the chapter books!
The pictures in all the old homes were so neat to look at and read!
Roslyn and I both gasped when we saw these beautiful, old wedding dresses hanging in one of the old homes at Pioneer Park.

Trust me, Roslyn is already planning her future wedding!  What a beauty!
Priceless day with the my big kids!
Best buds for life!
Wish I could keep them "little" forever!

Happy Memorial Day...

Hope you all had a blessed Memorial Day Weekend.
Jake and I had a blast with our kiddos...enjoyed the simple things in life this weekend - including our Rozzy Roz turning 6 years old! Hard to believe!

Lots to be thankful for...

This weekend we thank service members for the sacrifices they make to keep our country safe. A special thank you to my dad who served in Vietnam, and to my Gpa Shorty who served in WWII.
You are my HEROS!

We also got to visit some pretty special people today at the St. Nick cemetery.
We miss you Gpa Stang!

And we miss Gpa Rausch and Jake's older brother Paul.
Wish we could've met you both - proud that Andray is named after both of you!

Priceless moments with the kiddos.

God bless the Peace Makers...RIP Tommy.

Jake brought us to the St. Nicholas chapel - what a beautiful and peaceful place!

"A Hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself."

"God Bless the USA"
Every Memorial Weekend Jake hangs our family flag in front of our house.

Proud to be an American!

Can't believe Andray and Roz only have 3 days left of school this year!
Going to be yet another milestone week!

Happy 6th Birthday to our spirited, positive, sincere and soft-hearted Roslyn Ann!
We love you to Heaven and back!
We have one happy birthday girl in our house today!
Frozen frenzy in the Stang household!
Six different presents for our newest 6-year-old!
For the past year Roz has been asking for sports bras!
Stop growing up so fast! :)
We plan to do A LOT of reading this summer!
Andray was pumped to give Roz a pink Barbie car for her new Barbies!
Three peas in a pod!
Hard to believe Rozzy is on to the next size bike!
Thanks to our amazing neighbors for passing their daughter's bike on to us!
Love hand-me-downs!

It's a CELEBRATION!
May all your dreams come true this year Rozzy Roz!

Kindergarten Mass & Graduation for our Miss Roslyn Ann!

Our Roslyn Ann said the First Reading at her Kindergarten Mass this morning and also celebrated her Kindergarten Graduation from
St. Mary's!
How did our baby girl grow up this fast?

So happy for her and proud of her! Congrats Graduate!

Roslyn's teacher Mrs. Noss is absolutely amazing - already praying she sticks around for 3 more years so Carrine can have her ;)

So glad Jake could be at mass with all of us this morning!

Our girls...Carrine loved being up on the altar after the graduation ceremony. Might be forming "bad habbits" for future Sunday masses - have a feeling I'll be chasing her down from the altar in the near future ;)

Tears...so so thankful my Gram could be at mass with us this morning!

Priceless moments...

Thankful everyday for my parent's support of our children!
Roz was already sitting up front in the choir when we all walked into church.
Her face lit up when she saw my mom and Gram - sweet surprise!
Roslyn's classmate, friend and distant cousin, Brooklyn!

What a year and what an amazing Kindergarten class!

What a PARTY!

Roslyn celebrated her upcoming 6th birthday with her friends from school earlier this week!
She was on CLOUD 9 the entire time ;)
What a beautiful "Princess Crew" (of course complete with Super Hero Batman and mini Anna!)
FROZEN THEME PARTY - perfect for Rozzy Roz!
So much fun!
Roslyn helped decorate her cupcakes.
6 is Bliss!
Absolutely amazing watching 11 "Elsa's" run around in our backyard.
Oh yes, "Anna" made an appearance too! :)

Pinata time!

Amazing how fast the past 6 years have gone.
Such a thrill to watch our first baby girl grow up!

Where it all began...

Such a fun party for our Roslyn Ann!
I think the two favorite parts of the night for me was
1. When all 13 kids (including Andray and CC) starting singing the "Alle-Alle-Alle-Lu-u-ia!" song at the supper table with the hand gestures and clapping! (absolutely powerful)
2. And when Roslyn stood up three different times during the party and thanked everyone for being there to celebrate with her (all on her own accord).

Very proud of our BIG GIRL! She's growing up way too fast!

Been an incredible birthday week for our Rozzy!
