Let the Advent Season begin!

Very thankful our family got to light the first candle of Advent at our church on Sunday.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

Today I'm most thankful for having God in my life and my family's life. If I didn't have God in my life, I'm not sure where I'd be. God's forgiveness, grace and mercy is powerful. And despite incredible challenges in life, God is always there to PROVIDE!

I'm thankful for my family. I absolutely love my family and love being a mom.

Children truly are God's greatest gift!

I'm thankful for Andray and his kind heart, smart brains and loving personality.

I'm thankful for Roslyn and her contagious personality, bright eyes and beautiful soul.

I'm thankful for Carrine and her bold personality, lack of fear, and love for life. She's the best "book end" that our family could have!

I'm thankful for TIME. The extra time I've gotten to spend with my kids the past 3 years.

Another year with my Grandmother and Jake's 2 grandmas.

Our children are so fortunate to have relationships with their great-grandmothers.

I'm thankful for the roof over our heads, clothes on our backs, food to eat, and good health.

I'm also thankful for OPPORTUNITY.

Change is scary but necessary to continue to live, instead of exist.

I'm thankful for our 4 parents, all family members and amazing friends who are like family.

Love bears all things! 

I'm thankful for farms.

I'm thankful for all veterans, police men and women, fire fighters, first responders, doctors and medical staff. You all have difficult jobs!

I'm thankful for our church and school...truly love both communities!

Lots to be thankful for...today and always.

Scared and excited for what 2017 will bring for our family!

Sacrament #2 in the Books for Roslyn Ann!

Today was a special day as Roslyn completed her 2nd sacrament...1st Holy Reconciliation!

Roz was very serious about preparing for reconciliation and we truly enjoyed each lesson with her.

She was nervous and excited before meeting with Father...but she was BEAMING when she walked off the altar after her confession.

Roz's exact quote, "I'm SINLESS mom!"

Lots to be thankful for, lots to be sorry for and lots to rejoice.

So very thankful Roslyn will get to do her 1st Communion at St. Mary's next spring!

Can't wait to start preparing with her for this amazing sacrament...Jesus!

We were able to bring Carrine to her first movie a couple weeks ago!

What a blast with this crew!

One big tub of popcorn for the fam. We were all excited.

Lovin' Husky Hot Shots!!!

It's Husky Hot Shots season again and the kids are LOVING their Saturday morning practices. Best year yet for Carrine too. No fear, she's paying attention, learning and having fun!

So proud of this trio...they are loving basketball!

So cute to see the TALL men's players with the little kids.

Andray shot a LOT of hoops this past spring, summer and fall.

So on the way to Husky Hot Shots he told me, "Mom, this is going to be my best basketball season yet...I've been working hard practicing and playing bball." Glad that he's found an activity that he enjoys, pretty sweet.

And there was a lot of "gymnastics" going on for Carrine during her one-hour practice too :)

While the rest of the kids worked on dribbling, CC worked on "carrying" the ball in the "follow the leader" game. Yep, that's our kid and proud of it :)

Even Carrine has a jump-shot...she definitely got my vertical, or lack there of!

And no rest, we came straight home to continue practicing!

This time CC reverted back to being Roslyn's #1 Cheerleader!

Good luck to the men's and women's Husky bball teams this winter! Excited to work and watch a few games this winter with the kiddos!
