What a day at SCSU!
Legendary men's basketball coach Kevin Schlagel was honored after the game. He will be missed by many after he retires this year.
I was able to bring the kids to a women's hockey game in the afternoon. They did pretty good watching...but very quickly they had their coats back on. Forgot how cold it gets in the rink!
Chillin' at the rink...literally.
That was the first hockey game I've been back to watch in person since I stopped covering SCSU athletics nearly 3 years ago.
Thanks Coach Giesen and the Huskies for the invite! Even CC had a great time at the HBNHC. Good luck in playoffs.
