Frank Christmas - Part I

Well, our first Frank Christmas didn't quite pan out like we had hoped the week of Christmas.
My oldest brother's family didn't make it home because they were sick and my other brother had to work.
So, it was just Jake and I and the kiddos at home with Mom and Dad.
Was sad and disappointing not having my siblings and nieces home, but Jake and I really had some incredible conversations with my parents and I'm grateful for the few days we got in Redwood.
I have to admit - Andray and Roz were pretty bummed that they weren't going to see Isa and Amelia, but they handled the news of not getting to open gifts very well.

So...instead of opening presents...we went sledding!

Brought back a lot of childhood memories!

Not sure who had more fun sledding - Jake or Roslyn ;)

Roz ended up going down the hill by herself and went the farthest.
Guess she wasn't too humble here ;)

One afternoon Jake and I took our big kids to the good old "classic" RWF Theater to see the
Disney movie Frozen.
What a blast from the past for me - don't think I've been to this Theater in nearly 20 years.
Roz got pretty scared in the movie and I absolutely loved when she jumped on my lap and squeezed for safety and comfort.

Always fun to make trips home.
Can't wait for our re-scheduled Frank Christmas in just over a week!
