What A Day!!!

 Wow we had a great day today! The kids passed swim lessons - what a difference a year makes!

Both overcame a lot of fear with the water the past two weeks!

 

 

The kids move on to Swim 1 lessons next summer.

 

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to Jake!

He received his master's hood and diploma cover in the mail today from Concordia University.

And I do have to brag about him - he's graduating Summa Cum Laude - a perfect 4.00 GPA!

So proud of him!

Andray earned his first trip to the movie theatre a few months ago but at that time there were no movies to bring him to. So, after being very patient, a movie finally came out that we could take him to...TURBO. Andray graciously let Roslyn join us at the theatre - and it was a nice way to celebrate the two kids passing swim lessons. Was very enjoyable watching the kids at the theatre today, especially towards the end of the movie when there was the most suspense. Andray actually got off his chair and was standing up, too cute.
Also, couldn't believe it when they told us the movie was showing in Theatre #11 - meant to be!

 

 I'll never forget the kids' first trip to the theatre. Roslyn wasn't big enough to keep her chair seat down so we finally grabbed a booster chair and that seemed to help.

I got to cuddle with both kids at various times during the movie which was nice.

What a day - and what an incredible summer with the kids. Looking forward to a long-awaited Stang Family wedding this weekend up north with Jake! Will miss the kids, but will be nice to get away together as well.
