The Kids Passed Swim Lessons!

The kids both passed their Swim 1 Preschool Beginners swim class yesterday. Was a proud moment for Jake and I!

Their reward for passing... Roslyn got a Dora swim towel and Andray got a Cars swim towel, they were pumped!

 It was so much fun watching the kids learn how to swim the last 2 weeks!

Their instructor, Laura, did an amazing job with the kids. Very thankful.

 Happy 42nd Anniversary to the BEST parents in the entire world! Thank you for "showing" us what a lasting marriage is all about Mom and Dad...we love you both soooooooooo much!

St. Augusta Days was a BLAST!

 Along with family and friends, we were able to enjoy our FIRST St. Augusta Days parade on Saturday. Everyone had a complete blast on Saturday!

Thank you to Rachel and John for letting us borrow their pool on Saturday. The kids had a blast in the water! We were the talk of the neighborhood ;)

 We finished up Saturday night at the beer gardens with our great friends: Matt & Brenda and Garret & Amy...was truly a great time had by all!

A Great Day Happened 7 Years Ago...

60 years ago today Jake's grandparents were married as well! What a special day for them and the entire Stang family...a true example of what marriage is all about!

Can't Wait for St. Augusta Days!!!!

We are looking forward to St. Augusta Days this weekend! The kids are super pumped for the parade on Saturday and to have a sleep over with our dear friends Matt, Brenda, Katelyn and Carson!
Here's hoping for great weather and fellowship this weekend!

Special Memories...

Back in May my Mom, Gram and sister-in-law Megan went to see the Princess Diana exhibit at the Mall of America. It was a very special time for all of us to celebrate Mother's Day and each other.
The exhibit was beautiful and behind us is a replica of Diana's wedding cake when she married Prince Charles...was stunning. I think my favorite part of the exhibit was seeing her wedding dress!
I'm thankful for special memories like these!

Roslyn Loves Her New Room!

Last week I re-painted Roslyn's room in her favorite colors...Pink & Purple! She was so excited when she saw her new room after being gone for over a week on vacation!
Ah, I'm so glad for Roz to finally have a "GIRL" room!

 Roslyn's room before I painted. We also moved the wood furniture down to Andray's room and moved the white furniture up to Roslyn's room...has made quite a difference in both kids' rooms.

 The blue curtains were moved down to Andray's room, fun stuff.

 The "rocking chair" will now be moved out to Jake's "man cave" in the garage. Hard to believe we don't need a rocking chair anymore in the baby room!

 I haven't had the time to hang up photos yet on Roslyn's walls...but she loves her new room!

We Had a Fantastic Fun-Filled Week of Vacation!!!

Ah, the kids and I had an incredible week of vacation last week! We were able to head to Redwood Falls for a week and see a ton of great friends and family members! God is good!

 Andray truly is one of the greatest BIG BROTHERS in the world...he's so good to Roz.

 Cousin Love!

 Andray really came out of his shell last week. He used to be deathly afraid of animals, especially dogs, but he and Jacob's dog Bruno really got a long! Was fun to witness!

 Andray absolutely LOVED driving his John Deere tractor out at Mom and Dad's. He and Isa were busy "picking rock" every day with his trailor and scoop shovel!

 We wrapped up the week with a trip to Roseville to visit our best friends Adam and Heather, who were home from Florida. Hard to believe their baby boy Mason is a year old already. Was awesome to see them again!
