My parents gave the kids such a precious gift on Sunday! My dad made each of them "hope chests"....or as Andray and Roslyn would say, "treasure chests!" Ah, brings tears to my eyes. The chests are made out of wood from my grandparents farm, and the covers are made out of wood from my Grandpa Frank's farm where my dad grew up. Doesn't get any more special than that!
The kids loved looking into their treasure chests!
I never knew my dad had such great handwriting ;)
Roslyn was putting her Baby Sally in the chest for nap time, she almost fell in trying to get Sally back out! Too funny.
