We were so grateful to be able to see so many family members and friends over Easter weekend. Roslyn thoroughly enjoyed her FIRST EASTER! Love, the Stang's
Good Friday morning...Roslyn's 1st Easter...hard to believe just two Easters ago Andray was smaller than the Hallmark bunny to Roslyn's right.
The kids were so excited when they woke up Friday morning to a living room full of Easter baskets, presents and candy! Thanks Aaron and Megan for the awesome duck and bunny baskets for the kids!
Andray was so excited to see the Easter Bunny again! And of course, he loved all the Easter eggs in the house. If you look closely, he's holding about 7 in his arm and pointing with another egg in that hand, ha!
Friday morning we headed for Olivia, Minn., to go to mass with my Gram at St. Al's. In the past couple years Olivia has totally refurnished their church and it's absolutely breath-taking! As you all know, Andray loves going to a "BIG CHURCH". We sat in front and he was in complete heaven. We were so happy to go to mass with Gram for Good Friday. Just brought back a lot of memories of Gpa Shorty serving mass there. At communion time a soloist sang "How Beautiful" and let me tell you, the tears just kept rolling. Miss my Gpa so much!
The ceiling in St. Al's above the altar...absolutely beautiful. Andray loved the Angels and the "Clouds in the Sky!"
MINNESOTA TWINS OPENER AT TARGET FIELD
MINNESOTA TWINS OPENER AT TARGET FIELD
Jake and I were able to witness the Minnesota Twins first ever game at their new Target Field on Friday night back in good old Redwood Falls. Andray was pretty stoke to watch baseball on TV. We can't wait to go see the new Target Field!
Papa Larry sure does love his grandchildren. Roz enjoyed sitting on Dad's lap and watching the Twins.
We promised Andray at Christmas time that when the snow was all gone, he'd get to ride on Papa and Gma Frank's Gator. It was the first thing he said when we drove up Mom and Dad's driveway! So after supper on Friday night, that's exactly where Andray went, to the Gator! Mom had a ball driving him around the yard, too cute!
On Saturday morning we were able to get a lot of yard work done. Roz loves being outside and feeling the grass in her hands!
Our good friends, the Hmielewski's, left their son Matthew's green tractor at my mom and dad's when they moved to Marshall. Andray was beside himself when my dad brought this tractor up from the shed. He never quite figured out the pedals, but Andray loved being pushed in this tractor! Dray is truly "BORN TO BE A FARMER" we think! Papa Steve would just say Andray better start liking RED tractors more, ha!
Andray's Godfather Jacob reading him a bedtime story on Saturday night...so sweet.
EASTER SUNDAY - APRIL 4, 2010
EASTER SUNDAY - APRIL 4, 2010
Three of the four generations of Lingl's....Great Gram Lingl, Mom and Great Granddaughter Roslyn. So precious.
Gram loves her great grandchildren sooooooooo much! Thanks mom for the awesome Easter dress for Roslyn, can't wait for Roz and Isa to get photos in their matching dresses!
Great Uncle Dennis and Great Auntie Susie put together an amazing Easter egg hunt for the great grandkids. Andray had a blast looking for eggs, but he just couldn't take his eyes off the "Big Boat" too funny!
Jett is growing up to be such a great kid...hard to believe my Godson will be 7 years old the end of this month!
STANG EASTER - RICHMOND, MN
The Stang Cousins (L to R): Roslyn (10 months), Ella (5 years), Andray (2 years), Neely (8 1/2 months), Mya (2 1/2 years) and Skyler (7 years).
Thanks to our cousin Krista...all the great grandkids had a blast looking for Easter eggs on Sunday night in Richmond. Here Skyler and Mya are posing with their eggs.
Father Mark was able to make it back from Texas for the Easter weekend. He's feeling so good, looks great, and we just pray every day that his "clean bill of health" stays! Father Mark is holding baby cousin Neely, while Gma Stang is holding our Roz...so sweet.
