Twins Win!!!!

Way to go Twins...they swept the White Sox and now lead our division by 1/2 a game! Last night was amazing...huge comeback and Andray was pretty happy! I'll be posting some photos of him in his Twins gear soon, but for now, enjoy his 6 month photo from Country Gallery...thanks to Heather, Adam, Matt, Laura and Bethany! The photos that Lisa takes are amazing! Wish we could buy them all! We chose to buy this one because Andray has his hands folded just like my Grandpa Shorty used to fold his when he served mass or went up for communion at church. Amazing, makes me want to cry everytime I look at this photo or see Andray fold his hands like that. So special.....

Big Fan of the Bumbo Chair!

Hey Everyone - hope this finds you all doing well. Andray is changing every day, loves his sweet potatoes and squash, so tonight we're going to introduce carrots! This past weekend my parents came up to visit. Mom is making all the flowergirl dresses and Andray's tux for Jake's sister Rachel's wedding, so enjoy the photos of their "first" fittings. Andray's cousin Mya also let him borrow her Bumbo Chair. He loves it and is such a big boy in it. He has sat on his own by himself, but we're just working on those ab muscles. Little Man Is 6 Months Old!!!!!!

Hey Everyone - hope you're having a good week. Today is a special day for Andray, he turns 6 months old. It's also a day of remembrance as we remember all those who fell on 911 in New York, as well as those that continue to die from repercussions from 911 and those who are have/currently/or will serve for our country across seas...

Andray had his 6 months appt. yesterday and did great. This was the first time though that I REALLY had to fight back the tears while I held him down for his shots. He cried pretty hard, but was a good sport afterwards. He's 27 1/2 inches (90th percentile), 16 lbs-11 oz. (50th percentile) and his head circumfrance is in the 25th percentile...so he's doing good!

Gotta Love Family Softball Tourneys....

Hope you all are having a great weekend. The three of us enjoyed family softall in a little town north of Roscoe called St. Martin. Andray was decked out in his Duke apparel...it was a fun weekend, but we're glad they lost out last night so we could just relax this Sunday afternoon! Have a great week everyone, Andray has a big week ahead. He gets his sixth month photos taken on Tuesday and has his shots on Wednesday. It'll be interesting to see how much he's grown since his four month check!

P.s. - Andray's getting excited for the Vikings game against the Packers on Monday Night Football!

Early Saturday morning, Andray and I went for an hour and a half walk...it wasn't even 50 degrees out, so I pulled out Andray's snowsuit for the walk. He was so cute in it and pretty much fell asleep instantly....talk about comfort and warmth all at the same time.

Andray was so warm when he woke up from his nap in the car seat! My little heater, that's what he is!

Papa and Gramma Frank gave Andray this warm up outfit when he was born. He also had his Duke onezie on that Jake and I bought him when we went to Duke over a year ago. Hard to believe he's big enough to wear all this stuff. Andray had a blast watching Jake and the Rausch cousins play softball in St. Martin!

Jake earned "Dad of the Year" honors on Saturday. Despite being busy playing ball, he still found time to cuddle with Andray and get him to sleep!

A Fun Day At Home!

Andray's daycare was closed on Thursday, so I "gladly" stayed home with him! We actually did make an appearance at my work at SCSU because I had to tie up some loose ends, so we got him all dressed up in his SCSU hockey apparel. There were plenty of people at SCSU to hold him while I got my work done. Then we had the rest of the day together. It's amazing how much work I can get done at home when I actually have a day at home! Andray was a champ and napped great for me so I could get things done too...love hanging out with him!

Summer Comes To An End....

Hey Everyone - hope you all had a great Labor Day weekend. The three of us stuck around the St. Cloud area for the weekend and it was quite fun. Got to see a lot of friends and family and just be home to relax (although I had to update volleyball on Friday night and Saturday, and Jake had two fantasy football drafts on Monday!). But it all works out. Big changes this week I guess...Jake is back to school and said the first day went well. Andray is back at daycare full time, which is tough, but we know he loves to be around the other kids. Our oldest niece Skyler started kindergarten yesterday, and my Godson Jett starts kindergarten today. So it'll be quite a change for those two and their families this year! Also, Andray ate a bowl of cereal for the first time last night and did a great job! It was fun to see his facial reactions, but by the end he was grabbing the spoon himself and putting it in his mouth. So we're hoping he'll continue to be a good eater with solids! Jake and I were so proud of Andray eating for the first time. Makes me want to cry to think how big he looks in his new high chair from his Grandma Stang and Stang Aunties and cousins!

So this is how Andray "really" feels about his mom working weekends again until May...not too pumped! (check out his left hand...hilarious!)

Uncle Jacob came to visit Andray this past weekend and they had so much fun together. Andray's little t-shirt said, "Littleist Vikings Fan!" ....so cute!

Andray wore these bball shoes for the first time on Sunday with his plaid dress shirt and kakhi pants....size 3 and they already fit! Crazy stuff.

On Monday all of us Stang girls got together to do wedding stuff for Rachel. Andray got to sit in Grandma Stang's high chair for the first time...he was pretty stoked! Good thing his older cousin Mya was sleeping, she's pretty teritorial of "her" high chair! ha!
