I truly hope all you mothers out there had an amazing day on Sunday.
I'm very thankful for the incredible day I had...woke up with my husband and kids, attended mass, enjoyed a family photo shoot by our beautiful white and special tree, then headed to my Gram's farm to spend the day with her and my parents. Very thankful for every day I get here on earth with my Gram, my parents and my kiddos.
My beautiful gifts from Andray, Roslyn and Carrine.
Besides having a sick child, nothing better than waking up in the morning with my kiddos. They were so proud to give me their handmade gifts.
I'm truly grateful for them...my heart hurts in love for my kids.
Another gift from Jake and the kids...so true.
Started the weekend off at the Stang farm with Jake's family.
Love all these beautiful children!
After mass on Sunday morning we headed to Gram's farm.
My Mother's Day was complete spending the day with Gram and my parents.
Love these 2 ladies more than anything and look up to them. With all the pain and suffering they both have had to endure, they still continue to amaze me in their unending sacrifices and love.
Look up to both of them.
Gram's farm yard is breath-taking.
There's no other way to describe the Lingl farm.
Words of wisdom...some day I'll garden.
The big kids had a blast running through Gram's infamous ROCK GARDEN!
The wooden fence is wood from the original barn on Gpa and Gram's farm place.
Gpa Shorty made that fence with his own hands.
So special...and oh how we miss you Gpa Shorty!
To me this place is truly HEAVEN on earth...
Gpa Shorty and Gram's special bench from 1993.
Andray figured out very quickly that I was only 12 when this bench was made :)
He loves math and I'm thankful!
Angels are everywhere at Gram's.
Even got in a great game of Kickball with the big kids!
Lots of competitiveness and laughs!
Was tough having a sick baby on Mother's Day.
But grateful for all the extra cuddle time.
These 3 truly are my "Why."
Why I get out of bed every day, why I continue to pray and follow God's plan.
I'm so thankful that I'm a mom, and that I've had countless amazing moms that have gone before me to pave the path of motherhood for me to follow.
Thankful for every day I get with this trio.
This journey we call life is NOT EASY.
Everyone has a battle that they're fighting.
Life is painful...but that pain will be rewarded in Heaven.
TRUSTING in the Lord is key...and ALL will work out the way it's supposed to in God's plan.
For despite "free will"... truly, it is "His plan, not our plan."
God’s will is not an event that happens to us, it’s how we respond to what happens.
Happy Mother's Day to all of you out there...whether you have kids, grandkids, great grandkids, nieces and nephews, godchildren, hoping to conceive, grieving the loss of a child or of a friend's child.
Motherhood is truly the biggest sacrifice you'll ever make, yet the biggest reward in life.
THANK THE LORD FOR MOTHERS!
