Two Weeks To Go!!

Hello Everyone - Well, I'm officially 38 weeks along! Which mean's by weeks I'm 9 1/2 months along! Crazy stuff...mommy and daddy are getting pretty anxious, yet nervous at the same time! They've been busy getting my stroller and car seat put together. Any my Frank grandparents came up with my Uncle Jacob and put up my new star curtains....they look great, and daddy is pumped because it makes my room really dark, which he's hoping I sleep a lot easier in my crib then! (Ha, little does he know I'll be keeping him up for months on end :) ha!)....anyway, I can't wait to meet all of you, enjoy the photos...mommy really has "popped" now, and read up on how I'm growing inside of her!

READ ALL ABOUT ME...."BS" (BABY STANG!)

Your baby has really plumped up. She weighs about 6.8 pounds and she's over 19 1/2 inches long (like a leek). She has a firm grasp, which you'll soon be able to test when you hold her hand for the first time! Her organs have matured and are ready for life outside the womb. Wondering what color your baby's eyes will be? If she's born with brown eyes, they'll likely stay brown. If she's born with steel gray or dark blue eyes, they may stay gray or blue or turn green, hazel, or brown by the time she's 9 months old.

Love you all......"BS"

Check out her belly!!!Now...no one can say they can't tell that Celest is pregnant! ha!
Daddy was pumped because his 16 oz. Coors Light fits in the can holder of the stroller!
Daddy sure had fun putting together the new stroller and car seat!

Mommy's favorite outfit while she's been pregnant...this red shirt and sweats! Also, after church on Sunday daddy bought mom her favorite treat...DOTS! She's also been eating lots of NERDS while she's been pregnant...I (bs) definitely love the extra sugar!

BS Is 36 Weeks Today!!! (9 months)

Hello all - Well, I'm 36 weeks today, which can be figured to be 9 months along. Crazy stuff. My mommy and daddy are getting pretty excited and have gotten their hospital bag packed. Hard to believe my due date is less than a month away!

My Grandma Carol and Uncle Jacob came up a couple weeks ago to see if the curtains my Grandma Carol made work in my room, and they are going to look awesome! Also, my big cousins Skyler and Ella came over with my Auntie Sarah a while back to help get my room all situated....Auntie Sarah was a big help! And Skyler and Ella got to look at my second ultrasound photos...they like to see my mommy's tummy, but they're hesitant to touch it! Ha!

This past Sunday, my daddy even got my changing table attached to the dresser that my Papa Larry made. My daddy is pretty excited to change me on that...alot!
Anyway, enjoy the photos. Also wanted to let you all know that my mom has had three non-stress tests now and they've all been okay, so I think I'm still on track to meet you all around March 11th!

Love, "BS"
My mom at 36 weeks...9 months. Can you tell she's "popped?"

Dad getting his stuff packed in the hospital bag...notice the Corona slippers?
Mom just double-checking that she has everything. My auntie Rhonda and Sarah gave lots of good advice on what they should bring! Thanks!

My Grandma Carol and Uncle Jacob trying out my new curtains in my room.

My new star curtains...thanks Grandma, I love them! And I promise to sleep well when they're drawn because it'll be so dark in my room...at least that's what mommy and daddy hope! Ha!

Check Out My New Photo Shoot!

Hello everyone,

Last Friday, Jan. 25, my mom and dad took me to the clinic to have another ultrasound done. My mommy's doctor thinks I'm measuring too small for as far along as I am (34 weeks!). But the results came back that I'm in the normal range, just a little small for my age. (which my mom is pretty pumped about! hehehe). Anyway, after the radiologist looked at my results, she and my doctor think my mom needs to come in twice a week now for the next four weeks and do non-stress tests on me to make sure I'm growing up-to-par. I know I'm fine...but your prayers are always needed. My mom and dad are just hoping that I'll be here for March Madness so they can BOTH enjoy a Bud Light with me on the couch while the three of us watch DUKE win it all! Ha!

Enjoy the photos, still can't wait to meet you all in March!

Love, "BS" (Baby Stang)

Hello all! I'm getting bigger from my last ultrasound photos...getting a big tighter in mommy's tummy! But it's a heck of a lot warmer in mommy than it is for all you
Minnesotan's right now!

Duke deserves a thumbs up right now! Go #3 DUKE! Still undefeated in the ACC!

Check out the bottom of my right foot...I'm going to have feet just like my daddy!

I don't know if you can all tell, but I was scratching my smart brains in this photo. My left hand is on top of my head, try to follow the arrow! I sure am excited to meet all of you!

Rachel and John are Engaged!!!

Hello everyone - my Auntie Rachel to-be just got engaged last Saturday at Anton's Restaurant in St. Cloud! Her finace John is so cool, and he had the ring in the popover (for those of you that don't know what that is, it's the dinner roll/bread that's served with honey butter at the dinner....and the honey butter is the best part! ha!)...but the entire family is so excited, and I (Baby Stang), can't wait because I'll be there to witness the BIG DAY...which Rachel and John have set for October 25th of this year! Already praying for great weather!

We also got to go dress shopping already, and we think Auntie Rachel found her dress...it's beautiful, unique, and unexplainable! And when she walked out in it I was rolling all over in mommy's tummy cause I loved it so much! Enjoy the photos!

Love you all, and March is just around the corner, can't wait to meet you all!

There were quite a few tears shed!

My Wonderful Baby Shower!!

Hello All - My mom's two cousin's from the Lingl side, Cassie and Kristen, threw me and my mom a wonderful baby shower on Sunday, Jan. 13, in Willmar, Minn. Kristen's house was decorated so beautifully and she and Cassie did a great job with the food and the games we played, it was great! We had tacos in a bag, with the bag being of course a bag of Doritos (mom's favorite)!

We received wonderful gifts, and are so grateful for them. Lots of things that I'll need once I'm born...like diapers, wipes, lotion, books, rattles, sleeper outfits, music to listen to...and the first thing my mom opened was DUKE APPAREL for me to wear when I'm first born (my parents love Duke and want me to wear Duke stuff during March Madness)!

My mom and dad were very excited when they saw the Duke apparel, and we thank Gpa and Gma Stang, Uncle Eric and Aunt Sarah, Uncle Brian and Aunt Rhonda, Aunt Rachel and my three older Stang cousins Skyler, Ella and Mya for the Duke stuff. Enjoy the photos!

Thanks again to everyone who attended the shower and to Kris and Cass for putting it on. It was an amazing day, surrounded by people that my parents love so dearly.

Have a great rest of your week everyone!

Love, BS (and of course my mom and dad, Celest and Jake)

The Dad-To-Be with the DUKE slippers and hat...He's so proud! GO DUKE!

A close up of the Duke hat and slippers...Just because I know you ALL love Duke so much!

Jake's family also gave us a Duke sleeper at the shower...
BS might be coming home from the hospital in this! Ha!

Everything was set up so cute! The utensils were in baby bottles and the napkins were in little boots. Cass and Kris, we are so thankful for all you did!

The cupcake platter was awesome. Decorated with rattles, bottles, moons and stars! And they were so good! I had to hold myself back to just have one! hehehehe

I'm 8 Months Old Today!

Hello Everyone -

I'm officially 32 weeks today, which means 8 months old. Although my mom could possibly carry me for 8 more weeks, I'm down to single digit weeks! Mom and Dad are getting pretty excited, scared too, since they're going to be new parents and all...but I can't wait to meet all my older cousins, my aunts and uncles, grandparents, great-grandparents...and of course all the new friends I'm going to have!

Here's the update on how I'm growing, and Mom has definitely "popped" out! :)

By now, I (Baby Stang) weigh 3.75 pounds (pick up a large jicama) and am about 16.7 inches long. I now have toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). My skin is becoming soft and smooth as I plump up in preparation for birth.

Love you all, have a great week!

What a Wonderful Christmas!!!

Merry Christmas Everyone and Happy Birthday TODAY to my Sissa Megan!!!! - hope this blog finds you all doing well. Jake and I had an amazing Christmas. We got to spend our first Christmas with our niece Isabel on the Frank side. It was quite a great change having a little one around. And Isa did a great job! Slept well, ate well, played well, and most of all had a blast opening all the presents. She truly is a miracle from heaven, and we're so thankful to have Aaron, Megan and Isa safely home from Guatemala...forever!!!!! I also had some dear friends, Emily and Ann (Van Hee), come out to my parent's house to meet Isa and they brought their boys! It was so fun to watch Isa and the boys play together, and it was especially nice for Jake and I because we got to spend some time with our Godson, Andrew (Ann and Chad's son).

Mom and Dad even had a belated b-day party for Isa...Isa loves Dora! So we put a chocolate covered cupcake on a Dora plate, it was so cute! And Isa loved her party! Hard to believe she's 13 months already! Wow, how time flies.
On Christmas Eve we spent the day/night with Jake's family, and what a joy that was watching our three little nieces (Skyler, Ella and Mya) open all the gifts. They were all dressed alike as well (thanks to their Godmothers!), so enjoy the photos. All three of those girls are so precious to us as well.

On Christmas Day morning Jake and I drove down to Olivia, Minn., to be with my Grandma and the Lingl family. Although the entire family wasn't there, it was still amazing to be with everyone, for we don't see the Lingl's very often. Gram had her house looking beautiful as ever, and the great grandchildren (Jett, Kenedee and Gracie Raye) were wonderful. Jett was such a big help cleaning up all the wrapping paper! Thank you Jett, my wonderful Godson! The most special gift is what Gram did for all of us grandchildren. She has been buying teddy bears since Grandpa left for heaven already two years ago. And for Christmas this year, she had all the teddy bear's clothes made out of Grandpa's clothes! Very special, and let me tell you, there weren't many dry eyes in the room when we all opened our special gifts. The bears are completely dressed, with Gpa's t-shirts underneath the shirts and his boxers under all the jeans. Truly was amazing, and what a great keep sake to have forever...thank you Gram...we love you more than you'll ever know!

Again, we hope you all had a great Christmas and best of luck in 2008. Jake and I are very excited for the upcoming year...hard to believe we'll become parents in just over 2 months, but we are as ready as any new parents can be, and can't wait for you all to meet BS (baby stang)!!!

Love, Jake-Celest-n-BS
