Nothin' better than a week at the lake with family...

Very thankful for our time spent with my parents and family last week at Lake Norway.
We lucked out with amazing weather!
Was awesome to get out of town and enjoy some quality time together.

There was plenty of time for playing in the sand...

and lounging in the water.

Lots of water time!

Our little CC...2 years old going on 22 :)
Strike a pose!

Miss Amelia Mae

Aaron with his Baby Louis...love it!
Big sister Isa Lu with her baby brother...

My amazing crew...

Big kids had a blast using their imaginations on the tube...

And we got TONS of Baby Louis time!

He is just too dang cute!

Absolutely in love with my newest nephew!

and we somehow found time to just sit and relax...

And the grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed their time fishing with Papa Larry off the dock!

Like Papa...Like Grandson...

Witnessing Roslyn catch her first fish of the week off the dock was PRICELESS!

One happy camper!

Making memories!

Jake got some quality one-on-one time with his Goddaughter Amelia on the dock...
absolutely precious.

There was LOTS of cousin time!

Roz and Amelia teaching Carrine how to "skip" rocks!

And every day the cousins set up their "school house"...even Carrine took her turn as Principal!

Every night was campfire night.

Like Father...Like Son...

Each morning was peaceful (yet LOUD with 6 kiddos running around!)

Jake and I got to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary at the lake!

10 years of marriage and 10 months of life...God is good!

Two days  later my parents celebrated 45 years of marriage...love my parents so much!

A huge "shout out" to Megs for making this delicious fresh fruit pie to celebrate our anniversaries!

Even Great Gram "Chip" was able to enjoy a day at the lake with the kiddos...

The cousins loved their "sleepovers" each night.

Yes, the lake water did wonders to CC's hair :)

Even found time to play "Hide and Go Seek!"

Bonus...Andray lost his first top tooth at the cabin and the Tooth Fairy made an appearance.
Left "Fairy Dust" and all!
Thanks to Papa Larry for pulling the tooth out, quite an experience for our Little Man!

Even found time for Gma Carol to hand out "fun" gifts for the grandkids!

What a crew!

Hard to believe next year Baby Louis will be running around everywhere!

Papa and his boys...

Gma's girls...

And we found plenty of time to play games!
CARBLES was a hit for all of us...

And my dad enjoyed teaching Andray how to play chess!

Perfect morning for a game of chess at the breakfast table.

The cousins even got a game of croquet in!

Even some of my aunts and uncles came to visit and meet Louis for the first time!
Uncle Billy just loves babies!

My Godmother Margie enjoyed her "bottle time" with Louis!

Of course Aaron got a game of cards in with the Uncles!

I thoroughly enjoyed my "girl time" with Mom and Megs...love you both!

Yet another incredible week on Lake Norway!
What a peaceful and beautiful place.

Thanks Mom and Dad for the memories!

St. Augusta Days Never Disappoints!

What a weekend! We started off Saturday morning with the 1K and 5K Gussie Gallop!
The big kids finished hard and I ran faster than my goal which was frosting on the cake!
Looking forward to running more races this summer!

On your marks, get set...GO!
Andray took off with his buddy Carson and Roz asked me to run with her in the 1K.
I embraced that invitation. Was fun motivating her and holding her hand while running on the route!
Neither Andray or Roz had to walk in the race which was the goal!

The girls had fun watching the 5K finishers.

Then it was time to celebrate and relax in the water!

CC loves the water, especially on a HOT day!

The boys...

Low and behold, our neighbor dropped off a 3rd place medal for me!
CC was happy to wear the medal around.
Very surprised and even more motivating to continue to improve!

Baseball in the front yard with the kiddos...nothing better!
Always a great time down at the church grounds listening to Diamond Back!
Was a great night!

SUNDAY AFTERNOON

Sunday of Gussie Days never disappoints either!
Outdoor mass was awesome with the polka music and the church festival was a blast for the kiddos!

Got to enjoy some live music while eating lunch...

Enjoyed a family ride on the "trolley" through town...

Was fortunate to work the face painting and glitter tattoo booth for a couple hours...the big kids were an awesome help!
The woman doing all the face painting was so talented!
Glad I didn't have to try face painting and happily took over the tattoo responsibilities :)
Roslyn's face painting was stunning!

The tractor pull competition never disappoints either!

Roz was pumped to get her Dr. Pepper!

CC had just woken up from her nap and was a little on the "crabby" side ;)

Andray was glad he had the "Duke Blue" tractor.
Then Papa Steve nor Papa Larry could be mad :)

Then it was on to the BINGO tent!

Andray was pumped they had green cards to play with.

Didn't leave the church grounds until nearly 6 pm...

Another amazing Gussie Days in the books!
Already looking forward to next year!
