Kindergarten Mass & Graduation for our Miss Roslyn Ann!

Our Roslyn Ann said the First Reading at her Kindergarten Mass this morning and also celebrated her Kindergarten Graduation from
St. Mary's!
How did our baby girl grow up this fast?

So happy for her and proud of her! Congrats Graduate!

Roslyn's teacher Mrs. Noss is absolutely amazing - already praying she sticks around for 3 more years so Carrine can have her ;)

So glad Jake could be at mass with all of us this morning!

Our girls...Carrine loved being up on the altar after the graduation ceremony. Might be forming "bad habbits" for future Sunday masses - have a feeling I'll be chasing her down from the altar in the near future ;)

Tears...so so thankful my Gram could be at mass with us this morning!

Priceless moments...

Thankful everyday for my parent's support of our children!
Roz was already sitting up front in the choir when we all walked into church.
Her face lit up when she saw my mom and Gram - sweet surprise!
Roslyn's classmate, friend and distant cousin, Brooklyn!

What a year and what an amazing Kindergarten class!

What a PARTY!

Roslyn celebrated her upcoming 6th birthday with her friends from school earlier this week!
She was on CLOUD 9 the entire time ;)
What a beautiful "Princess Crew" (of course complete with Super Hero Batman and mini Anna!)
FROZEN THEME PARTY - perfect for Rozzy Roz!
So much fun!
Roslyn helped decorate her cupcakes.
6 is Bliss!
Absolutely amazing watching 11 "Elsa's" run around in our backyard.
Oh yes, "Anna" made an appearance too! :)

Pinata time!

Amazing how fast the past 6 years have gone.
Such a thrill to watch our first baby girl grow up!

Where it all began...

Such a fun party for our Roslyn Ann!
I think the two favorite parts of the night for me was
1. When all 13 kids (including Andray and CC) starting singing the "Alle-Alle-Alle-Lu-u-ia!" song at the supper table with the hand gestures and clapping! (absolutely powerful)
2. And when Roslyn stood up three different times during the party and thanked everyone for being there to celebrate with her (all on her own accord).

Very proud of our BIG GIRL! She's growing up way too fast!

Been an incredible birthday week for our Rozzy!

4 years ago today I drove myself to the ER and was diagnosed with a blood clot in my left lung.
No question, one of the scariest moments in my life.
God has an incredible way of turning "lemons" into "lemonade!"
In 4 years we've added another beautiful child to our family and I've completely changed my outlook on life!
I'm thankful for "regained health" and every day that we get to wake up here on earth. Life is way too short and I'm so thankful for the supportive husband that I have (family and amazing friends) and most thankful for my 3 beautiful and healthy children!

God has a plan...and it truly is HIS PLAN!

So Proud of the Big Kids!!

This week Andray and his 1st grade classmates put on their first Class Play!
Andray was a cricket and narrator of the play - he did an amazing job!
Absolutely one of the most adorable plays I've ever seen.
Mrs. Peterson does such a great job with the 1st graders!
Our Miss Rozzy Ann was recognized at the May Birthday Mass this week as well.
She's been looking forward to this day since Christmas! (no lie)
She was so sweet up on the altar!
She said she was nervous but she did a great job walking down the center aisle and standing on the altar during the Eucharistic Prayer!
Can't believe my first baby girl is having her Kindergarten graduation next week and is almost 6 years old! Love her to pieces.

TGIF!

HEAVEN on Earth...

Heaven on Earth...the Lingl farm...need I say more?!

Gram's "reinforced and updated" Rock Garden is absolutely breath-taking.

I swear Carrine Faith walked on every piece of stone and rock in the entire garden :)
She was "all smiles" the entire time!
The kids had a blast running through the "trails" in the garden.
And of course "posing" for pictures everyone "once in a while" :)
Natural cave in this Evergreen tree - perfect hiding spot!
Carrine loves Great Gma "Chip's" cat named Psycho! :)

I could listen to CC say "Psycho" all day long!
Mom and Gram, the floral experts...Priceless!
Truly Heaven on Earth...Miss you beyond words Gpa Shorty!

Over 60 years ago Gpa Shorty picked up extra night shifts at the Olivia bowling alley to purchase two rows of Evergreen Trees to plant at the farm. Gpa was paid $3 per night working at the bowling alley and was able to purchase one tree (for $3) per a night's work. So thankful most of the 30 original trees are still standing today.
My Gram is my inspiration and motivation!!
I swear there is no other 87-year-old woman (who has had both hips replaced) who has a more beautiful and "perfect" farm yard than my Gram.
God bless her (and her work ethic) always.

I swear there is not ONE WEED in her entire 5+ acres of lawn or gardens.
Another amazing afternoon with Mom, Gram and the kiddos...very thankful.

May 10th Was a Beautiful Day!

My birthday wish and Mother's Day wish came true yesterday - I got to spend the entire day with Jake and my kiddos!

Absolute BONUS was seeing my parents, Gram, brother Jacob and my Godfather Jeff.

Very thankful for the amazing family that I have!

Tis' the Season for "Rock" Pickin'

Last weekend Andray told me that he wants to be a FARMER...

Cousin fun in the Spring sun!
"Rock" pickin' really is fun with all the kiddos.

Teamwork at its finest.

Of course there's always time to "greet" the cattle.
And the kids made time for jumping and running on the big bails of hay!

This week Andray reiterated the fact that "when he grows up he wants to be a farmer...and he wants to take over Papa Steve's farm."
I think Great Gpa Andy would be proud of that.

TGIF everyone!
And a very Happy 8th Birthday to our niece Miss M&M!
