Bring on Commencement!

Tomorrow is the BIG DAY at St. Cloud State University!
More than 600 graduates participating in the 2014 Fall Commencement...it's all coming together!

The Video Wall is massive over the stage.
Happy with the way our new display of International Studies Flags turned out.

Never a dull moment on Review Day!

Commencement is truly a TEAM EFFORT with everyone on campus.
Very thankful for the great people I work with at SCSU "behind the scenes!"

Looking forward to tomorrow - the best event on campus to be involved with!

Stang Holiday Baking & Tree Decorating in the Books!

The Stang grandkids had a blast at the farm yesterday decorating Christmas cookies and helping Grandma and Papa Stang decorate their tree.

This was Carrine's inaugural cookie decorating event - she was in Heaven!
Cousin fun...
Ella's masterpiece!
For being the youngest grandchild...Carrine had the longest attention span at the table!

She loved the sprinkles!
Carrine's masterpiece.
The "aftermath" of Carrine's cookie decorating escapade!

Andray's masterpiece.
Carrine with her Godmother Rachel.
"Who needs Santa when I have Grandpa?"

And then the grandkids were off to Tree Decorating!
Love this girl...
The oldest grandchild Skyler helping the youngest grandchild CC hang an ornament.
TEAMWORK!
Miss Mya Mellissa - growing up way too fast!
I could tell Grandma Sandy was in Heaven yesterday with her grandkids in the house!
Big cousin Ella helping Carrine.

Stitches Are Out!

Carrine was an absolute trooper this morning when the nurses took her stitches out!
Very thankful for our brave lil' girl!
My Gram truly is the BEST! She sent a "Get-Well" card to Carrine.
Miss my Gram...can't wait to see her for Christmas.
Hope you all had a great Friday!
Countdown to Christmas is T-minus 12 days!

Season of Giving...

For school the big kids had an option to make homemade toys/games for children who aren't fortunate enough to get Christmas presents.
Andray came up with this idea all on his own - VERY PROUD of  him!

"My Name is Ted...Drum on my Head!"
Explain why you made this particular toy/game: For the poor - Drum Doll.

What is on your wish list for our WORLD this Christmas?  Jesus
I love our Little Man!

It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in our house!

Even St. Nicholas made an appearance last weekend!
Jake didn't get rocks in his shoe this year - he must have been good ;)
Kids found their gifts from St. Nick early Saturday morning on the porch!

St. Nick was good to us!

This Little People nativity set is by far one of the best gifts we ever received for the kids.
The only toy in our upstairs right now and all 3 love playing with it!

The stockings are hung.

Our beautiful nativity scene from my grandparents is displayed.

And thanks to our neighbors Mary Pat and Tom for the awesome Advent drawers again!

And of course each child has their own Advent chocolate window calendar!

Love watching CC try to take her chocolate out of the windows :)

Christmas Cheer!

Thanks to my co-worker who knitted these awesome hats for our girls!

The countdown chain is made.

And we're nearly done with the 2nd week of Advent.

Love our "infamous" neighborhood houses all decked out and lit up with Christmas decorations.

It's going to be a magical Christmas with the kids this year.

The True Meaning of Christmas...

Remembering the "True Meaning" of this Christmas Season...
