Home Sweet Home. ..

The kids and I headed home on Saturday to visit a good friend from high school and meet her sweet little Marshall for the first time.
Bobbie's little guy is a doll!
Thankful the Hmielewski family could join us for the day as well.
Was fun to talk sports again with Coach and talk about the good old days!
Roslyn was in awe of Ashtin!
Hard to believe Ashtin was our flowergirl 9 years ago!
She brought her flowergirl dress home for Roslyn to wear - can't wait to put it on Roz!
Drew was awesome with our kids.
He entertained all 6 kids with Gator rides.
Roz was proud to clap Drew's hand!
The Gator Express Ride!
What a crew...
On Sunday I got to go visit Jackie and Aaron and meet their newest addition, Kolie Grace.
So thankful they're home from Children's Hospital already and Kolie's surgeries were successful.
Nothing better than holding a newborn.
Continued prayers for the Ferrier family.
Kolie is just precious.

A Perfect 4th...

We spent the July 4th celebration up near Brainerd with some of our very best friends - Adam and Heather and their boys.
"Craziness" was the theme with 5 kids ages 6 and under, but it was fun!
Couldn't have picked better weather to be out on the water and at a parade.
Very thankful for an awesome week spent with the Kays!

Cheers to Uncle Dale on his birthday.
He is missed.
RIP Uncle Dale...
On the 4th we headed to the Baxter/Brainerd parade...kids did great!
So glad Adam and Heather are back in MN!

The big kids participated in their first Turtle Race!
Pretty comical!

Nearly 200 participants in the Turtle Race!
Carrine getting a better view of the Turtle Races!
Got to do some sight-seeing in Nisswa!
The kids loved the real train car.
Our future train conductor.
Andray ringing the bell in the old school house.
Jake and Heather (the teachers that they are) were intrigued by the school house.
Then we were off to the Pontoon and Gull Lake!
Our boys...
Carrine and Jett were like 2 Peas in a Pod the entire weekend!
Roslyn calls Jett  - Carrine's "True Love!"
Too dang cute.
Mason is in love with Roslyn. :)
Carrine loved being at the front of the boat when we were moving.
Her curly hair was blowing all over and she was all smiles.
Drinks on the boat :)
And of course nap time for the two little ones.

Heath and I got to tube with our big kids...was a blast but man was I sore when I woke up the next day! Andray and Roslyn loved being on the tube!

Even found a resort to stop at to swim in their pool, go down the water slide and make smores!
Strike a pose Roz!

By far one of my favorite photos from the weekend!
And my second favorite. Our men with our babies - priceless.
Truly was a perfect day on the water - thank you Adam and Heather!
What a site.
On the 4th we headed to a park/beach before lunch.
Good times.
Then off to the parade after nap time.
Short and sweet parade - lots of laughs.
Thanks to all Veterans who have served or are currently serving for our country.
Thank you for our FREEDOMS!

All the kids liked the marching band.
Heath bought awesome straws - Roslyn of course loved them.
Paul Bunyan in the house!
Andray, Roz and Mason all took their turns hugging the Walking Pizza Slice ;)

Another fav pic - Heath and Jett.
There was a little girl sitting 2 rows behind us at the parade.
Anytime candy was thrown our way Roz would give half of what she picked up to the little girl behind us.
Proud of her  - Roz is growing up way too fast!
God bless the USA!

An amazing Independence Celebration...looking forward to the rest of the summer with this crew!

16 months ago our Miss Carrine Faith Celestine entered this world and changed our lives for the better.
Her smile,  cackle, crazy curly hair and witty personality are contagious!
Roslyn is an amazing big sister.  Although she loves to push Carrine's buttons every day, Roz also takes a lot of pride in teaching CC new things daily and keeping her safe.
And surprisingly, Roz loves sharing a room with Carrine!
Carrine's vocabulary is expanding:
Dat (for Dad of course)
Mum
No
Yesh (for Yes)
Ball
Yep
Poop
Shoosh (for shoes)

She also has the most blood curdling scream that you could ever imagine!  How we don't have cracked glass in our home is a miracle!

So we've been working on Sign Language for the past 6 months.  Carrine can sign:
Please
Thank you
More
Milk

These three munchkins are the best thing to ever happen to Jake and I.  Parenting is challenging every day but man is it rewarding.
Thankful for every day I get at home with this trio! We all learn something new every day!

Happy Independence Day this week!
Be safe everyone!

GOD BLESS THE USA!
