Our Somber Little Man...

Andray took his Kindergarten Christmas Program very seriously yesterday!
He wouldn't even look at us in the pew!
He sang all the words though and always knew when to stand up or sit down.
Dray lucked out and got to sit by his bud Carter and his best friend from daycare, Grace.
Jake and I would just laugh when he would glance at us out of the corner of his eye!

Andray was pretty happy after the evening program.

Very proud of our Little Man.

Roslyn Was the Perfect Mary...

Our Roslyn Ann might be the most Spirited "Mary" of all time.
She was all smiles and full of pride carrying Baby Jesus into her Pre-School Christmas Program today!

Finding her family in the crowd before the program began.
Just a "tad" excited? :)

Mrs. Swanson is truly the best Pre-School teacher ever.
So glad Andray and Roslyn got to have her.

Roslyn's Tuesday/Thursday class got to sing and dance to the "Reindeer Pokey" song by themselves.

The Nativity Scene with our very own Rozzy Ann!
Definitely had tears fill my eyes during this part of the program.
Strike a pose Mary!

Mary, Baby Jesus, Angel, Shepherd and Joseph.

My girls...

Very thankful my parents and brother Jacob could attend the program this morning.

Without question the only thing Roslyn wants for Christmas is a Barbie with a BIG Horse!
Was a great morning...feeling very proud of Roz.

A Baby's 1st Christmas...

It's been fun reminiscing about Andray and Roslyn's 1st Christmases (already 5 and 4 years ago).
Fun to compare "Santa's Little Helper" photos as well.

Can't believe how much all 3 look alike.
Who's Who? :)

Dancin' on the Big Stage!!

To say that Roslyn was the most excited lil' "Santa's Elf" today on the Big Stage might be the understatement of 2013. Roslyn thoroughly enjoyed every second of dance lessons this fall and had a blast the past two days dancing on stage!

"Santa's Elves"

Thanks to Roslyn's Godmom Rhonda for coming to show her support today!

Very thankful both sets of grandparents could be there today to cheer on Roz.

Roslyn checking Santa's list twice!

Dancin' with Dora.

Ho Ho Ho...We are Santa's Elves!

Absolutely no fear being on the big stage.
I had the opportunity to be back stage with Roz last night at rehearsal and during the first show today. Every time she got done with a dance she just smiled and yelled..."I love this Mom! I love dancing on the stage!"
(Worth every penny to see the pride on her face)

Roslyn said her favorite part of the recital was the finale.

Very proud of this little girl.
She absolutely LOVES to dance!

Our entire crew made it today - Andray and Carrine were the ultimate supporters for Roz this fall as they made it to every practice to watch. Jake said CC was literally throwing both fists in the air while watching the show this afternoon.

This lil' lady was born to dance...one proud lil' Elf!

Bring on the Christmas Holiday!

This lil' lady is officially our 20-pound Turkey!
Carrine had her 9-month well check yesterday morning and is 85th percentile in weight and 97th percentile (29 in) in height. Jake said I might just get my volleyball player after all ;)

By far this was the most enjoyable year putting up the tree with the kids.
Andray was able to reach nearly half way up the tree.
Feels kind of weird not having ornaments on just the lower third ;)
Always fun taking the ornaments out each year.
Our neighbor said it perfectly last night...our family history is on this tree!
Lots of stories behind the ornaments.

The stockings are hung...

and our Special Tree that we share with Heather and Adam is out.

The "countdown" to Christmas Eve has begun...only 21 days left!

Each night at supper Jake and I talk to the kiddos about the "Real Reason for the Season."
Going to be a busy and fun month of December.

Nine is Fine...

Hard to believe Carrine is 9 months old already today!
Time is going by way too fast.

We put up the Christmas decorations yesterday with the kids.
I remember a year ago how scared we were.

And now we couldn't be happier.
Everything really has worked out for Jake and I and we are grateful.

Very excited to celebrate Christmas with the kiddos this year.
