A Beautiful Family Wedding!

Well, Rachel (Jake's sister) and John got married this past weekend and we had an absolutely BEAUTIFUL October day! Everything was perfect...which is fitting because Rachel and John are most deserving of this happiness and are perfect for eachother. It was so amazing to see all of Jake's family again, and a lot of the family members that live out of state finally had a chance to meet Andray for the first time. Andray did a great job throughout the entire day. Mass was just a little too long and Papa Larry had to take him out during communion. But overall, the food was great, the drinks and dancing were great, and as Jake would say, the "fellowship" was awesome! Hope you all are doing well, and enjoy the photos of my two "men" in PINK! Thanks to my mom for making all four of the nieces pink and brown dresses, and Andray's pink vest and bow tie! It was soooooooooooooo adorable!

I was very honored to be such a special part of Rachel and John's day. I know I cried more at their wedding than my own. It was a very special day.

Hey everyone - sorry the words are at the bottom this time. Anyway, we've been BUSY needless to say. Work has kept me from home the last 13 out of 14 days (I'm exhausted). Heather came home from Florida on Oct. 10 to sing in a friend of ours wedding on Oct. 11. She did a beautiful job and it was so great to see her again. Also, coming up this weekend (Oct. 25) is Jake's sister's wedding (Rachel and John). We are so excited! I'm excited to have a couple days off from work (finally), and actually spend some QT with family and friends. Can't wait to post wedding photos next week after the wedding. Have a safe weekend everyone!

A Happy Day!

Andray just wanted to say Happy 8th Anniversary to Aaron and Megan today (hard to believe that beautiful fall day was that long ago!), and Happy Birthday to Gram Lingl today as well! Andray and I are heading to Willmar tonight to celebrate Gram's b-day with family. Also, a belated Happy 6th Anniversary to Ann and Chad (we love you!)....and in remembrance of Grandpa as well, who left us for Heaven three years ago tomorrow (Oct. 15th). Time just flies by, but there's NEVER a day that goes by Grandpa that we don't think of you!

What A Special Weekend!

We had quite a busy weekend last weekend. Jake's sister Rachel had her bridal shower on Saturday morning and her bachelorette party that night. Rachel's finace John had his bachelor party the same night, so Jake and my brother Jacob shared in those festivities. Besides have to work at SCSU, we fit all that in. Plus we were graced with the precense of Aaron, Megan, Isa and Gram on Sunday afternoon. So with mom and dad there watching Andray, and my brother Jacob there, we were all together on Sunday to celebrate Isa's "One Year Anniversary" of arriving in the USA...what a year it's been!

Cheers! We Stang girls had "adult" juice Saturday morning setting up the church for the shower!

Andray was under the weather all last weekend. Here Gram is rocking with him before bedtime...now that'll make you cry! I love them both soooooooo much!

I was so thankful to get a photo of Andray in his baptismal gown with Gram. Gram made that gown for me when I was born and baptised. Gram also made a blanket, which is draped on her right arm, for Andray.

Always hate to say good-byes, but we had to say good-bye to everyone. What an amazing weekend spent with both of our families. Jake, Andray and I cherish those times always. Never ever seems to be enough quality time together.
